I NEVER get height or ages right!

I'm probably more "off" than I am right on those, unless my husband or older son is with me. I'm very short, so it's really hard for me to judge height. To me, someone 5'8" looks really tall! If the DH or the son is with me, it's easy to compare and make an estimate. If they're not with me, I try to judge by visualizing one of them standing next to the employee. But if I am waited on by someone nearly as short as I am, then it's easy!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
Last Saturday I was in McDonalds picking up lunch for the kids. I overheard the manager tell the crew to be on their toes as the mystery shopper was coming in today. Wasn't me, but I haven't seen a McD's shop in ages.

proudly shopping in the D.
Wow, I'm surprised. I was thinking maybe they changed to in-house program. I used to love shopping McDonalds!
The company that used to do them is going to have their website go down temporarily because of the bombardment of shoppers signing in to see if they've started the program again, lol
One time I was shopping at a McD's, the manager approached my table and pointedly asked me for my recommendation on how to improve their store. I was caught off guard but managed to reply that everything was fine. A week later, I was doing another McD's about 30 miles away from the previously said store and guess who showed up as the manager there. Somehow I managed to avoid him but HOLY MYSTERY SHOPPING!!!
I live in a remote area and frequent the local hardware store because they have the best nursery, gifts and seasonal home decorations. That store also gets listed on the mystery shopping websites. So, when I go in there during windows when no shops are listed, nobody says hello, nobody asks if you need help, and the departments are empty of employees. The mystery shop days often have a 3 hour window. During those hours, it is howdy ma'am let me open the door and carry your bags kind of thing. 1 hour later and nobody even notices if you walk in the door. It makes me laugh when I am there because, I don't know if they have pegged me as one of their mystery shoppers (I don't do all of them just to keep them guessing), but I do know when the windows of time are and those are the times you get really good service!

Happy Camper
I shopped a cell phone store so much that I get "You come in here all the time. Do you need an upgrade on your phone?" tongue sticking out smiley (not a customer) I figure as long as they think I am a customer, it makes my shop easier when I walk in the store...but on the occasion that they ask for my "account number" and I tell them I am not a customer, I QUICKLY follow with: " But I'm not under contract with anyone and would love to see some of your newest phones" smiling smiley (both required comments)
At Chevron today I heard, "Todavia, no ha pasado el Mystery Shopper."

(The mystery shopper hasn't been in yet.)

Well, you just missed her ladies. winking smiley
