November is looking good so far.

I was going into my full time job on Monday worrying that I had nothing scheduled for November. Then between yesterday and today, I picked up 17 jobs. Could have been more if I were able to fit them in with my full time job. This is quite an unexpected and pleasantly surprising surge.

How is November looking for everyone else?

I agree, my busiest month in a long time, and they keep coming. Got about 8 more to do and going strong.

I am already booked over my monthly goal and a bunch of shops I expect to be doing have not posted yet. October was the best month so far in 2010 and I have no question that November is going to be even better. I had $154 in fees land on my schedule just today for work later in the month. And the nicest part is that there is work scheduled all month long. Earlier this year it was the first two weeks of the month and you were basically finished. Now it is sanely spread out.
November looks good, still front end heavy. I have only 2 shops scheduled after the 22nd. At this point, fees are almost as high as my second best month this year. Reimbursement dollars are holding their own. More shops will post, there will be the flurry of end of month bonuses, and I'll be ready.
November looked bleak to me. Not much the 1st part, but the last two weeks and then into December is looking really good so far.
I will be at my sister's home (240 miles north) for three weeks, helping out with driving her 90 minutes each way and waiting while she is in chemo and radiation therapy. Once I have made the move I will pick up some jobs that I can walk to from her Manhattan treatment site. I also have 13 airport shops, at least, up there. Am waiting to hear about 3 nice video shops near there and will hunt for more. In prep for this hiatus, I did a ton of well paid shops in October, so I am comfortable.

I wish your sister a healthy outcome. I have been in similiar situation years ago. The work will take your mind off it for awhile.

Picked up yet another 4 jobs. Registered with new company (for me) and they came through, decent pay and alot of work close to me.

OMG...you guys are cookin....there is nothing here in SoCal. Some companies have no work at all....or is it me...retire, tired, and no jobs. I have done some really good MSings but the economy here sucks and I think the corporations have cut their programs.
I think a lot of companies posted their November and December work in one fell swoop. Interestingly, now the boards are really picked over and although December stuff should be starting up soon I have nothing scheduled yet. I've gotten feelers asking if I'm working in December and told them YES, but nothing has followed up from that yet. If you saw nothing during the last week of October and the first week of November you probably need to check the company list and sign up with more companies. It has been roaring around here since August and our economy is still for squat. It seems to me we reduced unemployment by a fraction but we are still over 18%.
Okay, reporting from NJ...
Have 2 videos @ $60, 3 banks for a total of $54, and $240 in airport shops before Thanksgiving.

Am spending a lot of time with my sister and her treatment schedule, planning and cooking meals, etc. Also getting my car repaired after being sideswiped 2 weeks ago on my West VA video route. Expecting lots of family and friends here for our tratitional Thanksgiving, with all pitching in where my sister cannot. It's her very favorite holiday, so we will do it, come hell or high water.

It's a light month for shopping for me, but satisfying, nonetheless.

How fantastic that lots of folks will be around to pitch in for Thanksgiving and to be visiting! Glad you are able to spend the time with your sister and hope that treatments go/are going well.
Happy Thanksgiving, Walesmaven.

December is a month that not all shoppers are willing to shop. Certain shops were posted, and assigned early. I'm sure the MSPs were attempting to lock-in assignments. Here, the early birds have been restaurants and retail. Recently, I was assigned a fine dining assignment, due one week before Christmas. Guidelines suggest making a reservation no later than Dec. 1. I am happy to treat my husband to a special holiday dinner - no cooking or dish washing involved smiling smiley
I have been doing quite well in November. However, apparently not as good as everyone else. My week next week is not entirely full. In addition, I do not have anything scheduled for the last two weeks of November.
I never have anything the last week of the month, but had enough early on to earn me a rest. Next week only one so far, you never know what Monday will bring. Since I did straight pay with only two reimbursement for food, I should be o.k.

I have 10 out-of-the-house things scheduled, including 5 of the insurance seminars. But I do have about 30 phone calls to do, which should keep me out of mischief.
I have had to say no to more than a few who have offered shops through the end of the month. It has been painful to delete emails of good paying shops, ripe for the picking. But, my schedule is full, as in 5-8 shops per day up to Thanksgiving. I've got a few dogs in the mix, but nonetheless, equally deserving of a good report. Just not enough hours in the day . . .
Yes, my numbers just keep building. Picked up another 5 yesterday for November so I'm now up to 82 shops for the month and expecting to pick up another 8 today when they post.

Wow, that's amazing. I have 49 for November so far. Most are done. A few left to do this week. So far nothing scheduled for next week. Hoping to get some nice bonuses on some last minute pre-Thanksgiving shops.

Just curious, Flash, which company posts in the middle of the month? If you don't mind me asking. All the ones that I know of, who have a regular posting schedule, usually post in the beginning. Others, post whenever they feel like it. I don't know of any that regularly post in the middle.
Is it me? my young age (66)?? I'm close to the $600 reporting mark for a few companies?? or just that there are no jobs around the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California......hmmmmmm bleek. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
For one particular client of Service Intelligence they post every two weeks, so the postings may have 2 or 3 rounds show up in a given month depending on how many beginnings of the week there are. There are other companies that post stuff mid month as well and of course the ones that seem pretty random.
