Here's a new demographic that I have never seen!

Female shoppers must not have excessive augmentation.

Wow!

So, the only reason that this comes up is that it has been an issue of course. Crazy!

That's awesome.

On a project where I was hired the shoppers (I was the client, not the MSC) we had to add a demographic qualification that all shoppers must fully identify with either the male or female gender role - no binary or gender nonconfirming.

This was because we had a transgender shopper visit one of the locations that was on a military installation and catered to the military. The person stuck out and got different treatment.
Wait. Plain gal here. What the heck is excessive, or even non-excessive, augmentation? Do they mean cosmetic treatments such as bee-stung lips and breast implants and permanent tattoos and jewelry everywhere, or do they mean things like body parts that were not attached to one when one emerged from the womb?

Pronoun, schmonoun. I am a female human.
WOW. One person's "excessive" is another person's "necessity".

LOL!!!!!
I think it’s a polite way to say that you can’t have stripper boobs.
LOL

But what if you have stripper boobs naturally?

Exactly.

Drawing from my experience on a recent strip club assignment, I think that statement needs to be qualified.....most of strippers in LA are an A or B cup!

They should really make it easier to figure out and just put a specific range.
What kind of a shop had this restriction?

There are a few different companies that do bra-fitting shops. I imagine that would be good example where oversized body parts might be an issue with fitting the customer demographic....
Mine are natural, but they were not there when I emerged from the womb, LOL.

Ahhh... all is all more or less clear now... if clear means mud...

I agree that the client or MSC should specify a size range without mentioning augmentation. Way back in the last century, I was fitted because that was typical then. No one paid me for that. I learned well from the pros, and I can deal with bras all by myself now.

I will volunteer to ensure compliance.

I remember when I was pregnant being fitted for a nursing bra that was a GG size. Who knew they came in such a large size and even more who knew I needed that size. I had purchased nursing bras before that in stores like Target at normal single alpha size ranges that seemed to fit me. But yes, I have seen women walking the street in Beverly Hills that look like they will topple over any second....so if for bras they definitely need to mention a size max, if for being remembered just the fact that your bra size is way out of sync with the rest of you might be what they mean. Or maybe they are talking of male to female augmentation???
My understanding is that extreme augmentation can cause measurements to not give the correct bra size that the customer requires. Hence, it could throw off a fitting. At least, that’s from what I’ve been told. Personally, I avoid bra shopping.

Yes that’s true. I guess I should have said, “porn star boobs.” My bad.
They would not want that itsy bitsy top falling off among all those kids at the water park. If you have it and you augmented it I would bet you would want to flaunt it.
Um... where is this water park that has a problem with augmented patrons and bikinis? Asking for a friend
Why do you want to know where it is...since I have an idea you'd rather go to a water park where these types of things are not a problem!
I said I was asking for a friend! Troy no longer goes to water parks after getting a horrible sunburn and then assaulted by furry animals while being laughed at. Very traumatic.
I am always suspicious of people who speak of themselves in the third person, LOL.
I am certainly glad SoCalMama finally started a thread. Now maybe she will have more credibility.

I totally thought she was fake this whole time.

ETA: This was sarcasm. I just forgot the /)

HA!!! I'm sure a certain recently banned forum member would be squirming if they could see that, LOL. Hey, can forum members who are banned from posting still read the forum or are they banished into cyberspace?
