Audit 200 Items - Unrevealed

In my head, I have my granny glasses on, wandering up/down the aisle, snapping upc codes with my phone. I had to chuckle.

LOL.

I was wondering how to take 144 to 200 pictures and not be noticed.... I can snap a few discreetly, but it seems that this task would be tough to accomplish!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I am working on a project that is an audit but not a pricing audit. The company has a special scanner for bar codes and I take photos of the lot/date codes and any packaging issues.

Is that for an unrevealed audit? I saw a job for a warehouse-style store that you had to check lot & date codes plus look for packaging issues, but it's not the one the OP noted.

The guidelines say UNREVEALED and mention an app - pretty sure. And you get paid 15 cents per item. You have to audit items from a LIST, so it's not just scan/snap & go - more like hunt & peck.
No, mine is a special project that was invite only from a market research company I've been with (IC) for about a decade, it's an ongoing quarterly project. It is unrevealed but I have a letter of authorization just in case. Its not a warehouse store, it's 2 grocery stores, 2 large retailers, and 2 drug stores.

Omg I was assigned for 2, finally gave up after first one was taking so long

TERRIBLE
There is no way you're going to hide this mystery shop. Someone will notice you. On some shops I put the guidelines in my back pocket, just incase there's an issue. Just keep doing the shop, even if they find out.

I've done a clothing shop where they wanted you to check out 125 items, in 5 different departments, a total of 600 items. There was no way you're going to hide this as a mystery shop. I would have employees get in front of me and start fixing the rack of items.

No one ever asks me what I am doing or bothers me at all, other than customers asking me if I know where to find something. No trouble.
Ok I will share my secret... I did these 2 years ago and it is super hard to check 200 items without being noticed and some stores have a no pictures rule. I guess I look suspicious because the store employees kept bugging me... I took an old notebook and labeled it "COUPONING" then I got a shopping cart and put some non perishables in it, when you do these audits they are in groups... like 50 dairy items, 30 grocery items, 25 items in butter section etc... Get a feeling for what area you are in... and go to town on them! If someone bugs you, say you are checking prices because you are a couponer... they hate those people, but they will not kick you out because they make hundreds off of them. You have to be careful because you can get asked to leave, especially if the "client" is the competition which is often the case. Store x wants to know the prices in store y ... Do not show them the app you are using unless the client is the store and you have a letter stating you are allowed to be there. I got greedy and had 600 items to do... OMG!!! but I got them done because I had a letter so I did not have to worry about being "caught"

Hi, funwoman. Welcome to the forum! And thanks for the great ideas.

Now, since the shop itself hasn't been identified, can anyone tell me the MSC?
