Steakhouse shops

I have been asked not to mention the name of the below, but anyone who has ever eaten there will know of whom I am addressing.

After completing dozens of both the dining area and "belly up tp the bar" shops, last Sunday I accepted a "microbar" job; what a breeze! I think it was six questions and one narrative for a $20 meal; I have another for this Sunday. I know it is $5 less, but the time has been reduced to 30 minutes on site. I heartily recommend these jobs to anyone who enjoys an exceptional steak dinner.

I am neither a scheduler nor an employee of any MSC. If interested, contact rmyers@realitybasedgroup.com

Funny, as many shops as I do for restaurants I do not do this one. I look at the 25-30 dollar reimburse and just don't see how that would cover a drink and a nice steak dinner... The steak house I go to is a $100 reimburse for 2 people, and you can eat like a king.

Being the shops are reimbursement only, all I can fathom from this is we can spend $5 less for the freedom of leaving quicker. I always felt uncomfortable trying to spend the extra time there. The bar shops take less than 30 minutes to begin with. The $25 allows the individual shopper to add something beyond a entree and a non-alcoholic drink. You just have to hang out after finishing, somewhat awkward but not unusual.

I'd like to see them increase the table service reimbursement to $45 so two can enjoy a meal that is truly fully reimbursed. Leave the bar at $25 as 30 minutes is more than adequate time. Let us the individual shoppers spend consistent time at the bar, a micro visit seems like a ploy to reduce the client's output.

The restaurant is a different demographic than a high-end steakhouse, and it is possible to get out with a little cash left over from the $25 pay. I typically order the Road Kill, which is a hamburger steak. That and a cocktail should not run more than $20 before tip.
Request a bonus on these shops if you work for cash. Robin will give it to you. She needs to fill the shops.

It is not a fee, but a reimbursement shop.

The bonuses they offer are lame. I think they prefer to just not have a shop performed if no one will perform it for the reimbursement. A whopping $3 is meaningless, though the schedulers act like it is a major incentive we should be fortunate to be offered. Seeing the company thinks cutting 15 minutes off the required shop time justifies a $5 reduction in reimbursement. I see it as a test to see how low we will go, "low" in their value of us if we accept this

As the Roadhouse shops fly off the board in my city, I have never seen a bonus, but in two other towns I have received $10 thrice and $3 once. From a business standpoint, no company should ever pay more than necessary to fulfill a contract.
I do the restaurant shops every 3 months, or whatever the rotation is at the moment for this one (so many rotations that I have to write them down somewhere to remember them...haha)

I do have a "Shop Folder" where I write down the rotations, and nearly the day that I am able to again, I do this one. I love going there, but I never get out of there spending less than $50. I hate to spend "more" on shops, but I still feel like getting the $35 is a treat...I make it a date night with hubby and so we have to fork out a little more, it's okay

I have noticed that these shops seem hard to fill, as there is always a bonus attached to them. And there is one about a half hour drive from me that I have been tempted to do, but I always feel like if I'm going to drive, I need to make enough money to make the extra fuel, along with the extra time, worth it.
