Have Anyone Gotten English Bank Account Opening Shops for More than $85?

This is the highest rate I've seen.

Has anyone seen higher or been able to negotiate higher? I tried for $100 and been rejected before.

$100 was a previous fee when there was no rotation.

Was that rare, HB?

I've asked MaritzCX for a higher rate before and gotten it. I've asked another place for one and been rejected.

I can't get above $85 and definitely won't do these for anything less. $85 is a bare min. given the amount of work involved.
I don't really look at English shops but I've seen some American ones at $100. I'm surprised English shops don't pay in pounds.

Very funny.

You know what I meant, sir. (Or, did you??!). I was distinguishing them from the epic Spanish/Mandarin shops that can get you $250! I'm always jealous of people who can speak those two languages.
I took totally useless Latin in high school! *seriously, it should be a crime to advise students to take Latin*

I laughed. But then I honestly crack myself up usually.

I took totally useful French. Unfortunately I do not learn foreign languages well and so while I took French I didn't really learn much of it.

I just did one for $90, which included a $10 bonus. The bank has a $500 bonus on opening the account as well, I always try to double dip on bank account opening or credit card opening shops.
Last week e-mails were going out offering bonuses that made for a total of $140 to open a checking account and $125 for a credit card, both for the same bank. They were Maritz assignments scheduled by KSS. I had already completed an account opening shop for the same client earlier in the month for $80! I was kicking myself for missing out on such a huge bonus opportunity. I believe the bank is a relatively new client, so that might have had something to do with the unusually large bonus.
