Is Aveda still being shopped?

I know that they fly off the boards quickly, but still I have not seen one in my area for many many months.

Same. I have no idea how they don't know I am the shopper. I thought maybe I could no longer see them.

Anyone see one lately?
It’s probably been about a year since I’ve seen them in my area.. they didn’t fly off the board here, I was always able to see them for several days and then decide if I wanted to take one.. I was wondering if maybe they went to a different MSC?
I dunno about Aveda shops. But you might like to know that Aveda offers great deals online. For some of you, these deals might be good enough that you can have Aveda without mystery shopping for it. Or not. Only you know that. smiling smiley

My garden in England is full of eating-out places, for heat waves, warm September evenings, or lunch on a chilly Christmas morning. (Mary Quant)
I was wondering the same thing. I love their products, but I'm not willing to spend over $30 for conditioner on my own...but I am coming close to considering it. Their products are so good and smell great. I haven't seen one in a long time and thought I might have been blocked. Hope they return.

I have not seen them in quite a while, also. They were one of my favorite shops.
I saw a while back that someone here was on track for their all inclusive stay via the rewards program??

That was me. smiling smiley
I am nowhere near that number of points. I think i am on track for a box of teabags after all these years! But seriously, my local Los angeles Institute has two fund raising days per year. On that day whatever product you purchase comes back to you in the form of a voucher for the same amt you spent which can be used for facials, haircuts, styles, waxing etc. Check to see if there is an institute in your town that does this. I know the Los Angeles school is run by a company that has several other locations in the states. So far I have only gotten one bad haircut and that was by a senior student. I have not seen a mystery shop for years so that is how I get product....and a facial and haircut too for the same price.
There were 2 different companies offering 2 different Aveda shops. One involved have services performed at a training institute and one was a visit to a retail location where a product purchase was required, I have not seen either shop in over a year They were one of my favorites. ????
Could be a different MSC up here in Canada, but I'm seeing Aveda shops available in Ontario and Québec right now. I've never done one but my girlfriend did one a couple weeks ago and felt pretty burned by it. It was reimbursement only up to $20, and she couldn't find a single item in the store under $30. She was pretty upset that the MSC gave no indication that the $20 wouldn't be a full reimbursement, especially since there were <$20 products on display on Aveda's website, which led her to accept the shop. To make matters worse, this was her first ever shop so she's been left feeling pretty negative about mystery shopping as a whole.

The Aveda stores near me sell travel-size products (shampoo, conditioner, etc) for around $9 each.

Yeah, that’s what she was thinking she’d buy before she went in (based on their website). She asked about them specifically and they told her they didn’t carry them at their location.

I believe that reimbursement only covers the product cost so the tax is out of pocket too. As I remember them you needed to spend at least $20. I have not seen a shop for a few years but this shop is only good for those who already use their products and love the $20 discount or want to try them out. The travel sizes are very small so for $20 you do not get much.
I know some Aveda's are not being shopped anymore. I am not sure about all of them.
