Working for the Government + Mystery Shopping
Congratulations on the new job. Don't write about anything that would conflict with having a job in the courts. I got suspended from a bank job because I disclosed that I was a mystery shopper for banks and apartments.

It is a little different in the private sector, where the law in my state says, out of work sight, out of work hours, without work tools, you can do whatever you want without the employer dinging you for it. But of course, the law makes exception for the government. In the government, they're VERY particular about even the whiff of impartiality and you must give a full history of all employment. I couldn't mislead or lie even if I wanted to.

I would be very careful what I wrote. There is no good that can come from giving them what they seem to be asking for, and their right to ask for it is questionable. It's the courthouse, not the Pentagon. Specifically, if I mentioned MSing at all I would talk about grocery stores and fast food joints, and even that much is asking for trouble.
