I JUST was notified I had a Sonic shop rejected AND I AM SEETHING MAD! I named the client so I can't name the MSC but we all know who it is. I got a "Sonic Blast" as my beverage and I as told that was NOT an "Approved Beverage." That is news to me since I have purchased this too many times to count and never had one rejected and that choice is listed ON THE BLEEPING REPORT! I don't have any Guidelines for this shop saved to my computer. If someone does can you check and let me know if a "Sonic Blast" is an approved beverage - like I think it is. WHEN I am told it is I will then let the MSC know THEY made the mistake in rejecting my shop and I expect to be paid since it was their mistake - not mine.

From their guidelines:

Drink  Fountain Drink (e.g., Coke)  Limeade (any flavor)  Shake, Slush  Iced Tea (regular or flavored)  Coffee or Iced Coffee  Juice, Lemonade  Ocean Water

DO NOT ORDER Milk, Water, SONIC Blasts, Custard Concretes, Malts
DO

Thanks. I'll leave my reply at that

Shopped on wrong day for a bank account closure shop. That was really dumb of me and obviously can't try it again.

I was initially rejected for a wire transfer shop because I offered my money "before they asked." After much debate, they finally approved it. I explained the employee held their hand out, which while non-verbal, was an obvious attempt to collect my money at that time. I was told I needed a verbal instruction only, but the guidelines didn't say that and any normal person would know they wanted the money at that time.

A gas station shop was rejected because my photo didn't include the store. I didn't fight it, although the guidelines just say "take an overall photo from the street", which I did. It's not my fault the store was concealed behind the car wash.

Rejected because the bank I went to had their only banker call in sick, so couldn't do anything. Not my fault, but client wouldn't pay.

Those were the only ones I've had rejected in about 400 shops in 2018. Not bad for my first year shopping I'd say.
Silly me...I had a shop rejected cus I asked to see the queen mattresses for my guest room renovation. It was supposed to be for my own bedroom...

I had a grocery shop rejected once b/c I used self checkout instead of a cashier. I was told to use self checkout that day b/c the low volume in the store demanded that no cashiers be stationed.

Interesting... that MSC will usually waive the requirement if an employee, or signage, asks you to use one checkout method vs. another. It's been my experience that you are only penalized for errors that are your fault. I would have questioned it.

I did a Sonic shop where I was asked to leave eight minutes after receiving my food due to high customer traffic. The MSC, of course, requires you to stay for at least 10 minutes.
