Business Verifications?

Has anyone done these and if so, what has been your experience. A MSC that does them lists the name of the owner and their home address (not their business) so I never know if I should accept or not. I don't want to go to someone's residence to interview them.....

Yes,
Check it out. there are many individual landlords who own 1-10 properites and run thr business from home. They do need to have the security arrangementds for applicant and tenant data verified.

I have done scores of these with no problem.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

I am a little careful with those listing a home address. While most of them are fine, most individual landlords live in a house in a reasonable neighborhood. For personal safety there are some areas of town where I don't care to be. Luckily you can check their map very quickly and luckily there are few that show up in really "wrong" places.

I never do home addresses in my state. You migt vary in your locale,

I usually run the tax records before I do one. It gives you much needed information. Especially if you are doing a Scope E.

Apart from Trend Source are there other companies that offer business verification assignments.I like these shops they can be time consuming but atleast they are never routine and the pay is reasonable.

Agreed. Most pay better than TS, who at least usually pays fairly for this.

Which companies post their business verification assignments in the San Diego area?
