BJ's Brewery Shops

Are there ones where they are not ID check + buy alcohol types? Like just eating a normal meal?

If so, what's the reimbursement and/or fee? TVM!

Go check the website. In my area, there are carry-out, bar, and dining shops.

There are, they get snapped up in under 12 hours in my area. I just passed one up this month because it did not line up with my dates I wanted. There is a curbside as well, that is the best, because it gives you great food for much less work.

There isn't one in my city, but a neighboring one, so I never follow them much.

But I heard about their pizookies and wanted to try them on a shop if thye existed as normal dine-in meal types.

Are they more known for alcohol and dessert or is the food supposedly good too?

I only hear ppl rave about the a & d....food usually is not mentioned.

Not worth the $ at full price. They're big enough for two, but basically a cookie topped with ice cream.

The food overall has been consistently excellent, however.

In my area we have dine in and curbside shops in addition to the compliance shops. I have not seen bar shops in a while. Maybe those get snapped up too quick. The food is good....go on a day with a special you like. People like the beer they make themselves there. I am not a beer drinker. The pizookie is a fresh hot cookie with ice cream on top. Personally I would not like it after a meal...instead of a meal yes.
It is a full service restaurant, not a bar. If you do a bar shop make sure you know when the local or popular teams are playing as you will not be able to get a seat for hours.
Their Thursday special is fantastic. For $18.95 you get full rack of ribs, soup or salad, two sides and a mini Pizookie. There well drinks are $5 on Thursday as well. Easy to stay under the reimbursement and still have a lot to eat and take home.

Hmmm...Are the cookies heated in a skillet? If so, that might be worth it to me. I've had that before when eating out. It's one of those things I'd be lazy to try to replicate at home. I doubt microwaving the cookie works.

But, I wouldn't eat them regularly outside, though. I mean just once in a while...I do have a budget! I'm super motivated to keep it this year!!

No worries on bar shops. I don't drink. I'm always a non-ac shopper. Even Pina Coladas I buy are non AC.

I heard their monkey bread pizookie is supposedly the best.
I am doing a dinner dine in tomorrow, but I agree with OP, most lately have been the ID check, and I'm left out due to no one under 30 available. I also haven't seen the bar shops, but I will enjoy dinner tomorrow, love BJ's.

shoptastic - yes the pazookie is heated in a skillet. They have several different flavors and must be cooked to order as it takes about ten minutes to receive after ordering.
I so love the Pozookie, and their double pork chop over mashed potato's is a winner, also the BBQ chicken salad.
My opinion it's the best chain around.

The monkey bread pizookie IS the best! BJ's is one of my favorite chain restaurants. The drinks and food are always outstanding.
My nephew JUST turned 21 last month so I am set. I have applied to go on Monday's so we can split a Large pizza for half price. But that is what big time "upsets" me about the MSC that has BJ's. I apply and I never got told when I DON'T get the visit. I am not looking for an argument or fight, I would just like to know when the visit has been assigned to someone else. I have 2 applications outstanding and they have been for some time and the visits would be for next week so I'd like for them to let me know, one way or another, soon.
