1. Think about the consequences before you post.
2. TELL THE TRUTH or don't bother to post. Fact-based posts are welcome. Slanted posts designed to make the poster look like the victim of an unscrupulous or inattentive MSC are not. (And frequently, MSCs who read here will recognize the details of the situation and post the truth, making the liar look like exactly what she is.)
3. Remember that this is a professional forum. We have fun here, but this is not a forum where unacceptable language and unprofessional behavior is welcomed.
4. If you want to throw a tantrum, go in your closet and kick, scream, cuss, and throw things. Or vent to your family and/or roommates. Nobody here wants to hear a poster have an online tantrum.. If you have a story to tell, tell it honestly and professionally. Unprofessional, tantruming behavior only makes other forum members doubt the legitimacy of the story.
5. Jacob has few rules here. The posting guidelines are very short. My favorite part is "Add a positive contribution to the community."

That is the right way to do it. State your situation, don't name names and don't work with the scheduler again.
Wow. That sucks. Aaaannnddd, it's why many of us are anonymous. Kudos to any scheduler with the skills to figure out who I am.@LGRM wrote:
I agree. Just for perspective, a few years ago there was discussion about the changes to reporting for a large faux-Mex chain. The discussion included high sodium levels. I contributed to the discussion, in a non-offensive way -- I mentioned that I had to cut back on my sodium, and that for me, the new reporting might make it not worth it, considering my inability to eat all of my meal, and I was taking a break from those shops. I heard from my scheduler via email that she deactivated me because of that.

I'm pretty certain I'm "figure out-able...." I've thought of changing my name or something on this forum to be more anon. I guess I should go have a look at my profile and see about getting that done.
