Great!! This is just the thread I had to see today when I am going in for my first ever FG shop and was excited to see a bonus of a whopping $3!! They are usually taken at base in "my area" so I was glad to grab one for a bonus!!! :-)
Oh, boy. You just can't help yourself, can you?

I can usually talk the scheduler into $18 at most of the ones I do, while a slightly further location yields $21. There's another further location that I won't do for less than $30, but I only get sent there about 3 times a year at that rate (and often for the late-night shop which pays better). One trick is that once you've gotten a nice price never undercut it. I once took a location for $14 off the board because it had a milk shake which I was craving. Turned out to be an expensive milk shake -- for about a year when I asked for $18 they threw in my face that I'd gotten $14 for it. Finally they caved and assigned it for $18 and I've been able to maintain that fee ever since.
Last month, a scheduler called me to do a shop that was on the board for $12. I usually ask for $12, so this time I asked for $25, after the usual haggle. He said $18 was as high as he could go.

That's my going rate now.

$16 fee is as high as I received. Someone seems to be taking the shops in my area for less. I haven't been called since I turned them down for $10 or so back in December.
I’m taking notes on you guys! I asked for $14 for one and thought I was being greedy lol.
I won't do them for under 25 and one location I get 40. I get the 40 location at least one time a month. Don't ever do them for 6.00!!!! I find now that the reimbursement doesn't even cover a little burger, little fries and regular soda at some locations anymore.
$17
I have a feeling I could have really gotten a good bonus for a late night shop no one was taking, but I had no interest in the 30 mile drive at that hour.
My $18 offer was rejected. catlassy provided great advice in another thread to never back down on a high offer because it will haunt you later. Sticking!

probably only works IF there is no other competition, HB....these days, shops fly for base rate. sad smiley
I see the late nite shops bonused for $25. Base is $6. The day of the shop is $12. That's for this area.

I really want to get some near work, but that's a lot of competition.

I won't do them unless they accept my offers for $25.00. Usually only happens when someone cancels last minute.
I got a late night one for $30 once. All the others go for base fee here too. And we only have 2 Five Guys around here.

$25 is my standard rate for dine in. I do online for $20. The highest I got was $45 at an airport location via make an offer and $30 for a time sensitive late night walk in.

I rarely do late night shops, b/c no one tends to eat late except for ME the shopper. ...I feel like they can more easily spot me in those cases. I had one location where I felt they definitely knew I was the shopper after a late night visit. I stopped shopping there for like 4 months to avoid detection/suspicion. Thankfully, there are like 7 Five Guys within 25 minutes of me.
I usually don't get much of a bonus unless a late night shop. Probably that someone canceled .
I was able to get the same location for $30 twice - once on New Year's Day and the other a late night shop. Another location about 20 miles away from home I was able to get for $30. They tried to offer the Samantha Shop to me for $15 for that location. Um, no.
I was told the "best" bonuses go to....ta da!

Persons with access to military bases.

Seems those locations regularly go begging.
$50.

Their prices went up again.

I went to a location near work on my own dime. There were no shops available for that location. My Veggie and Cheese sandwich with bacon was over $7. A bacon cheeseburger was over $10.

$18 total fee is what I usually try to get - if it is far away I try to get $20-$25. The most I have ever gotten was a $25.00 fee. I also ask for a higher fee if it is a late night shop. Since I tip and the meal is $1.25 over the $12.75 limit, I am out of pocket $2.25 each time. I only order a small fry, small drink and one patty burger or BLT and it is still $1.25 over the limit because FG keeps jacking up their prices at a fierce pace and reimbursement is not keeping up with costs................they tell you to order a grilled cheese sandwich to keep the costs down...(Thanks a heap). I am sure FG would be thrilled if all I ever ordered was grilled cheese.

Prices are location and franchise dependent.

Some locations in the business areas in my town have it so only the veggie sandwich, little fries and regular drink will keep it within the $12.75 reimbursement limit. Use that to your negotiating advantage.....

I don't think it's our say to what the MSC's client thinks. If it's in their guidelines that allows any entree, they'll use all entree choices as an argument to not raise the reimbursement limit and fees.

I snagged a FG shop yesterday. It was on the website for $25. That has been my highest fee so far. On top of that, I stayed under reimbursement. They charged me for extra bacon ($0.00), not bacon ($1.10).

A scheduler called me today to do one that I haven't done in a while. He wouldn't go over $12 because that's what I did it at before.
