Five Guys increases prices, again

Performed a shop today. Single patty price is up 29 cents. Small fries up 15 cents. Regular fountain cup up 10 cents.

Base reimbursement has not changed. This is two price increases by Five Guys with no increase in the base reimbursement.

The one by me hasn't changed yet, but they had a $1 increase the last time. I usually wait for a larger fee before I do the shop.

Did you do the shop for base $6 fee ?

I wanted a cheese and veggie sandwich. There were no shops available that day, so I went on my own. It was over $7 (with bacon). When I looked at the menu board, a bacon cheeseburger was over $10.

The Cheese and Veggie sandwich was worth every penny.

HonnyBrown, I tried the veggie sandwich and I was most underwhelmed. But better for the heart, anyway, especially when you do a lot of these shops!

I know I used to get emails from the company that has the 5 guys shops, can someone refresh my memory as to which company it is because I've not gotten one in quite a while now and would like to investigate.

It is a violation to mention both the client and which company does the shop for them.

I would think adding bacon defeats the purpose of a veggie sandwich. But, it does sound a lot tastier!

My justification for bacon: it's 70 calories per slice and less sodium, calories and fat than a patty. And it makes the veggies taste really good. *Really* good!
