Smashburger Shops

Anyone know why Smashburger no longer has shops on on a MSC? Is it because of their ongoing lawsuit?

They were my fav. Anyone have any idea why they were taken off? The other burger shops where I live just is NOT as tasty so I don't do that many shops although their milkshakes are great and they have screwed up my order several times.

I edited it but I dont see the issue since have been dropped but I will comply smiling smiley

What do you mean you have been “dropped”. It sounds like you still do work for that MSC. It is also the policy of this forum not to reveal the MSC and their clients. Thanks for the quick edit though.
The MSC changed , a year or so ago I believe.

The client closed many of their locations last year. The majority of the shops I see posted are at airports. There is no longer a fee, just reimbursement which IMHO does not fully cover normal expenses. The report is slightly easier. The one location remaining in my area is not easy to get too, so I do not shop them any more.

They are still shopped with a $12.00 reimbursement and a $3.00 shop fee. Much easier, shorter report than Five Guys. And is Shake Shack still shopped ????
Shake Shack is still shopped. I do it monthly. It’s with the company that requires onsite training first.

The fee appears to vary by location. In the Baltimore/DC area there is no fee, reimbursement only. Maybe the airport ones add a fee?

Smashburger changed MSCs quite some time ago. They went from a Shopmetrics based MSC to one which has an in-house platform. Perhaps Smashburger is not shopping your geography right now. I did one about a week ago - with a fee because the MSC was in a bind.
LOL. First I've heard of the lawsuit. I had to look it up.

In a country where it's perfectly acceptable (seemingly) to say "Our product costs ten times less than the competition's", no wonder
"twice the patties" (two patties vs. one patty) morphed into "twice the meat".

I recently had a fellow shopper tell me to stay out of her "territory", or she'd come to my neck of the woods and do all my shops for "10x less" than I get for them.

I just laughed.
The nerve of that shopper threatening you. Some people feel entitled. I can understand someone wanting to protect their territory but if that shopper wants to do it for at/near cost, I say let them.

Cut off her nose to spite her face, she would, she would! She would have a 300 mile round trip to do the closest of my shops. It's the "ten times less" that made me laugh. I KNOW she meant she'd do them for one-tenth of what I get! But that's not what she said. Anyway, doing a shop for $10 150 miles from home is just plain STUPID; especially when you're doing it just to injure somebody.

It wouldn't be "near or at cost" -- it wouldn't come CLOSE to break-even.
I just picked up a Smashburger shop for April with the MSC that has been shopping them for at least a year.
Did a Smashburger shop this past weekend with a fee and reimbursement. They're out there!
Our Smashburger here closed a few years ago. I had one scheduled and then a couple of days before my shop, I was in the area and I noticed they were closed. This was around lunch time. I e-mailed my scheduler and I told her about it and then an few hours later she e-mailed me back and they had closed sad smiley

She was a great scheduler and I helped her out on many many shops. Sadly she is no loner with the company and I miss her and I miss SB sad smiley
They are only shopping limited locations. The location near where I live is not being shopped but the locations in my home city are.
Smashburger is perfect place for eating in or having a better burger to go, a quick workday lunch, the weekend burger and beer, date night, a family dinner, or with the team after the game.
