Asking for more money.

What is the best way to ask your scheduler for more money? E.G., There is a bank shop that I have done for a company twice. The first pay was 15.00 the second time they paid me 19.50. They are only offering 9.50 right now and there are 3 shops still available. Any suggestions? Thanks

I'd write to the scheduler, and tell them that you've done the shop before for a higher fee, and politely let them know that if they can't fill it and wind up increasing the fee again, you'd be happy to help them out.

I really think it's all in the attitude and the way you ask. I've had fees increased for two shops, after I had a dialogue with the scheduler. In both instances, the company knew that I was not making a threatening or frivolous request.
Yes, I also have 3 other MSC that I have done work for with a higher pay, and the way I asked them was " If you can not find another shopper, would you be willing to pay me the same amount as before." Does that sound O.K. or can you you give me another way to ask. Thank you, nicelytwicely!!!! It sounds like I am doing the right thing, but any more suggestions would be helpful. I think I'm getting spoiled at anythiny under 12.00. But, not to brag, I have done everything correctly for all the MSC.
sounds good to me... asking for more money is always an option... they are perfectly free to turn you down...
