Mine says Customer Service Evaluator and you can be specific in the summary section, but I wouldn't try to make it seem fancy or blow it up. It's a great job and most people, businesses are fascinated by it without any fluff.

You can always sign up and become a merchandiser. Then, you can state truthfully that you are a merchandiser. Your job duties can be much more than 'schlepped a boatload of stuff'. You must introduce yourself to managers and staff members, understand planograms, be responsible for property, reset product, utilize apps, conduct audits and inventories, work within given time frames, or whatever your articular assignments involve. Describing overt work distracts from the covert, confidential, and propriety aspects of work that you do as a mystery shopper.

Do you do announced audits as well as mystery shops? If so, maybe you could say something like "Retail Services Auditor/Evaluator."

Personally I'd suggest "retail auditor" or "customer service auditor" - after all you audit the experience and you write up a report about that.
I find that "evaluator" doesn't quite have the same gravitas - and gravitas tends to be important for CVs.

I was a Professional Liar in my last job. I would talk to salespeople about what the had to offer a new customer while posing as same.

But most if not all msc's, will not give out employee references. So if it is on your resume this may be problematic if the employer does a back round
check. .Regardless, very best of luck to you in your job search.

Ex-hookers / Customer Care Officers might have similar issues I guess.....
