Kathy Hart

This post will probably only be relevant to video/audio shoppers.

Unfortunately for we shoppers, Kathy, a scheduler without peer, has been forced, due to a health issue, to retire. Our relationship began almost a decade ago and NEVER did she extend an ounce short of a 55 gallon drum of assistance to me. In one case, actually delivering me a fee of $90 that was questionable I deserved, but, of course, I accepted the cash. Just as unfortunate was that we never had the opportunity to take the floor for either a Rhumba or Bolero. May the God of happiness and fulfillment always smile upon a first class lady!

Kathy has always been fantastic. I was sad to see her email last night.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Well written Bob. I like this:

Kathy is one of my favorites for sure. I hate to see her go!

So sorry to see her go. She was very helpful to me a few years ago when I began video shopping. Thank you for everything, Kathy.
I have had the great good fortune of meeting her at IMSC conferences, first at the one in Chicago. We have been wine-buddies at several occasions since then. She is not only the scheduler that shoppers would walk over hot coals for; she is also the sort of friend that you can pick up the conversation with, right where you left off weeks or months ago. And, as all IMSC conference attendees notice, right away, she is a superb teacher. I use the present tense, instead of "past" because I see her influence as a continuing presence in the lives of soooo many shoppers.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Kathy Hart is one of the most honest schedulers and MSC industry advocates there is. I've known her since my very first IMSC conference Chicago in 2012, as well as being one of her shoppers when she worked for Instant-Replays many years ago. I really feel bad that she had to retire out of something that she truly loved, yet its understandable.

The MSC industry became a lot less fun without Kathy Hart in it. I'll truly miss her.
