It's a scam. Anyone asking for your credit card information is running a scam.

The thing is....there are a limited number of banks out there offering credit cards and online portals. You would not need a MS program to compile that data. I probably have access to 50% of the online credit portals myself!
If if the offer is semi-legit and they are not stealing your credit information, they are more interested in your purchasing habits than how it's presented on the form, since they are specifically asked for the MOST USED card!

I would not trust them to remove the personal and private information. They should ask you to remove that information, it's not needed by them.

I still would not do it. You never know who has access to the information.
Extremely reputable company. This is a trust issue and I am very careful about whom I trust. Long ago this company earned my trust. I was more than pleased to provide them with statements and promptly receive my fee.

Not a scam but a reputable MSC. I just did not want anyone having 3 months of my credit card statements.

I did it, have been paid and wish I could do it again. Took about 5 minutes. This company has so many interesting and well paying opportunities.

My credit card statements have no surprises--grocery stores, gas stations, home improvement stores, a local clothing store--ho hum, nothing scandalous to keep anyone awake!
I don't have any credit cards, but if I did, I wouldn't give anyone 3 months worth of information. Too much information as to where you shop and when. Also how much you spend. A scammer could use this to avoid tripping any fraud alerts.
Mine would just be confusing. It's a bunch of hotel charges...and then all of those charges being reversed off the card.

This is a highly reliable and reputable company that I have shopped with for over a decade. I personally trust them and was accepted to send them the statements. I will, and I will get paid.

Did it and already got paid. Very reputable company and the offer came directly from a scheduler I know and trust.
About a month before that they had a screener that was sent out so I knew what it was in response from.
What data they are trying to gleen exactly I’m not sure... but I’ve been paid to do much more esoteric stuff than this... so it didn’t surprise me lol

Yes, very reputable company. I emailed them and learned that I could redact the information myself before sending the statements in. The Client is apparently interested in the layout of the statements, or something like that. As long as you redact the info yourself, there's no issue. This MSC did something like this for a Cable/Satellite Client several years ago, which I partook of. Again, back then I redacted the info myself and never had a problem getting paid. Great MSC if you can get jobs with them...they go quickly!
I would do this, but I don't carry over a balance on my card. Are there other versions of this project for that scenario?
Wait--if you don't have a credit card, then what were you worried about?

I don't think it matters if you carry a balance (I haven't carried a balance on any of my cards since I was in my early 20s). I think you just need to use the card 3 months consecutively. If you pay it off each month, that makes no difference.

Hmm, I might be looking at a different MSC than everyone else. Mine says they're looking for someone who carries a balance.
