Bank shop with overdraft

I would never bank with these people for real. I opened the account and did not get the 2 day call or the 14 day call. I did the overdraft Monday and have not heard from them....doubt I will. Wonder how I get the charge removed from my account without revealing myself as a shopper? Guess I'll have to email my scheduler about that one. This bank royally sucks when it comes to customer service.

Oh, heck no - me, neither. The closest bank to me has some of the most clueless people who are not friendly. The people at the far away branch were great, and I received the two follow-up calls right on time.

I still can't believe they charge $12 a year for a debit card that has absolutely no rewards tied to it, and that you have to go into one of their branches and do an account inquiry on the ATM to activate it. Who doesn't activate their cards by phone? If I keep this account open, it will be solely for the purpose of shopping.

The MSC directs us to notify the scheduler of any service charges. They deal with the client directly to have it removed.

I did this shop. Everything went very smooth. I promptly received my refunded overdraft fee as promised. I did not encounter any problems at all. Everything that was promised was delivered. There was no credit damage, I checked. It was never reported. The bank was great to work with concerning the overdraft. They even gave me away to have the overdraft fee reversed. If you cannot make it to the bank within a week or two to correct the overdraft, then do not accept this type of shop. OBLIVIOUSLY.... this shop is not for everyone. Since I am over 55,the debit card was free. I have no special fees or requirements except a tranaction every 60 days. I can close the account after 6 months. Small price to pay for the generous pay. I have no regrets accepting the shop. I also have done over 100 shops for this company. They are an A plus company to me.

The schedulers are also supposed to be contacted if you would like to close the account immediately following the shop, which I will be doing.

Yup, no phone call yet...my deadline is tomorrow. I will give them until 3pm to call me and then I am entering the report.
I know the company and they do paywhen you do a shop for them. However I won't do this NSF Check shop. I t could be worth it if you didn't have to get a $12.00 to get a debit card. All of the baknks I know give them to you free.
I do at least one bank shop every day. I have about 6 different bank accounts so as to be able to do the teller shops. I opened 5 of them just because of mystery shopping. The usual shop fee is 12.00. The shops take less than 10 minutes and the reports 15 minutes. I do these to cover the gas cost each day. There is nearly always one I can schedule close to one of my other shops. I now get a check every month from 2 MSCs that though they are both super slow pay do pay according to their criteria. I would do the overdraft shop in a heartbeat. How about the name of the MSC that is doing this type of shop.
A regional bank does them here in Kentucky. There are only three branches in Louisville and the rest are out in rural areas.

My shop's concluded for this client. My overdraft is refunded and I'm good to go. As the bank branches and ATM's are not in convenient locations for me, I'm closing the account.
I have one of those shop to do in the next week. I don't like paying for the debit card, but I'm over 50 so there should be no fee involved for a balance under $100. It's worth the time since the bank in MY Walmart. Just need to wait for some companies to up the money they owe me by this weekend so I'll have shopping seed money for opening the account and startingo n my 70 more gas shops. Hopefully getting my car back by Friday and I'll be on happy trails starting next week.

Same for me. Got everything done without a hitch. All in all, not the worst shop I've ever done either.
I have until Friday for the opening of the account. May go do that part tomorrow but it depends on if I get all my bank scanning done and a piece of music learned. Otherwise, not leaving the house!

During an inquiry shop, a branch manager said she would waive the debit card fee if I opened an account. I think they have some flexibility. Wish the manager where I did open it had offered that!
