Experienced Targeted Apartment shoppers, question

I rarely do targeted shops of any kind, but its hard to ignore this bonus.

"Please attempt to call this community 3-5 times per day at various times of the day until you reach your target.
Call XXXXXXXX if you are having trouble reaching your target; DO NOT just call and ask for them!"

So do you just hang up if the target doesn't answer or say sorry wrong number?

Ask a semi-ridiculous question ie: "Do you allow pit bulls?" or "Do you have units with five bedrooms?" that will immediately disqualify you. Look at their website to determine what to ask. I believe EPMS has a list of such questions.
When an MSC is willing to pay the premium I charge if a target is involved, I have a variety of questions and at least 1/2 dozen distinctive voices.
Initially, I call and ask if they allow ferrets. After a few days of this, I let the MSC know that I am not having any luck reaching the target.

They tell me to call 10 times per day to attempt to reach the target.

Really?

Eventually, they tell me to call and ask for the target.

Ferrets, Chimps, Tarantulas, a Mongoose?. Think that is bad? Do a targeted shop at a bank.
I ask if they are a senior building, offer student housing, accept vouchers or are smoke free.

For target shops if the target doesn't answer i use one of the aforementioned questions.

..what time do you open tomorrow..what time do you close...do you have any rental houses..I need 4 bedrooms...do you allow Irish Wolfhounds...do you have underground or enclosed parking ( when you already know they do not as per web site )
As others have suggested use different voice's and the questions they suggested. I would also give you a heads up that I also rarely do these shops, but have done them in the past. Know that sometimes your target does not even work there anymore. I have had this happen after called a dozen times over a period of one week - as the scheduler asked me to try a couple more times. She then reached out to the client to find out that the target had not been working there for weeks. And guess what - she posted the same shop with the same target to be shopped the next month. Go figure
