Bubba's 33 (TXRH subsidiary) - Any Good? = to TXRH?

Just got these in my area. They are owned/created by the same company as TXRH.

Shops look to be same fee structure.

Never been to one - does anyone think the food and atmosphere are just as good as TXRH?

Drove by a location once and it had practically an overflow of people. Lots of young people. Looks like a sports bar atmosphere.

Cheap beer and cheap, but delicious burgers. I would spend my money at Bubba's just for the cheap beer alone.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!

I can honestly say, I don't know how to respond to this!

The report and pay are the only similarities. This is NOT a steakhouse. They sell pizza, lasagna, onion rings, fish and chips, wings, etc. Tons of sports and music videos, but not country music. Very loud and crowded, but worth it. Oh, and you can arrive at 4, instead of 5. It might be less crowded at that time.

That's neat you can do 4PM. That probably would be the only way I'd be willing to pick it up. It's still sitting on my local job board. I don't want it ...yet. winking smiley

Looked up some pictures of the food. I typically NEVER do narrative reports + reimbursement only shops for stuff like Burgers, Pizza, Fries, etc. GOTTA BE steak, seafood, or something like Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, etc. smiling smiley

Those narrative reports really suck up time and if I spend hours doing a shop for just a burger, I'd rather have done some other work or just saved gas/mileage at home relaxing and eating some crackers (no work involved and they don't hold my money for 2 months). LOL.

I love the Bubba's shops and try to take it every time it's posted and am always unhappy when I'm in rotation. The food is good and so are the drinks. You can get everything from steak to burgers to pizza. I shop alone and do the bar shops.

I love the Bubba's bar shops and take them every time I can snag one. They serve everything from steak to pizza to burgers. I consider them just as good as the Tx. Rdhs. shops.
I like the Bubba's just as much as Tx. Rdhs. They do everything from steaks, salads, burgers, pizza, wings, etc. I grab them every time they are posted and I'm not in rotation.
Their signature burgers wig me out. They are 1/3 pork belly or something like that. So a bunch of pork fat mixed in with delicious beef. What a way to possibly ruin a burger. Don't get me wrong, I love well-rendered bacon on TOP of my burger. Not too sure I want it ground up IN the burger.
I don’t think too highly of their burgers, either. Boneless wings and wedge salad? Great? I did try one of their burgers with bleu cheese on it recently and it definitely was better than the burgers you refer to.

Oh. You need to try one. I've never had one mixed up but I love a pork burger. Never thought about it until I ate at a place in San Francisco several years ago called Big Chef Tom's Belly Burgers. Apparently some Food Network guy? Anyway it's closed now but I think a new one is opening in Philly.

ANYWAY. It was ridiculously good and when I got a meat grinder I actually started making my own. So great. Definitely recommend. When my brothers come to visit and we cook burgers I usually have beef, turkey, and pork available and they ALWAYS want the pork burgers.

I would do some ground pork tenderloin with some ground chuck to add the necessary fat. I bet that would be pretty awesome. Pork belly has SO much fat. I don't see how the interior could render properly. I guess if the patty was flattened out that might work. Or, if they could mold the patty so that all the beef was on the inside and the ground pork belly encased it...mmm. Yeah.
I make mine with ground pork tenderloin and ground bacon.

Pork tenderloin notoriously dries out easily, so I get that it needs the fat. But Bubba's is pork belly ground and mixed in with the beef, which already has some fat I am sure.

Oh, wouldn't a pork tenderloin/beef tenderloin burger be really good, with a layer of ground bacon encasing it on the outside?
