Are they serious?

I sure hope not! Not sure if this is the same mattress shop they have around here; those start out at $14, but are too time consuming to take them at that.

Maybe they meant $18? They're bonused up to $17 here (still not worth it, unless it's a different shop). Do you have to take the "match" demonstration?

Too much work for $8 bucks! I start them at $15 or above.. smiling smiley
I just came here to post about that. It seems they are really lowering fees with their new clients.
I was curious and came here specifically hoping to find a thread on those. I figured for $8 you take a picture of the building as you drive by. Apparently not.

Not as bad as Alta's $4 Reveal, but still...
These are with a different MSC than the $14 ones. I take those when they go up to $20. The $8, I didn't even look at the guidelines, so I don't know what's involved.

This MSC is great with bonuses on their burger shops, so maybe these will follow suit.

I just saw this $8 shop come through today. Didn't even read the email. Delete immediately if not sooner.

Honny, that $20 is when I'll start looking at them, too. They sometimes used to go up to $25, but I haven't seen that in a long time.

$8 must be the new $50.

This might rival Alta360's $8 self-storage shops.
Yeah I saw these and thought the same as you guys.. you got to be kidding me. I guess we will see how/if they are bonused when they aren’t picked up.
I saw that $8 shop. If they want $8 for the shop, they get an $8 report. Just a picture of the store as you drive by. sadly by lowering the pay, they are showing what they think of mystery shoppers.
$8.00 is not enough to drag myself off my own mattress let alone look at others.
LOL. I saw those. Anyone take one? I am curious as to what they expect for $8.00
For $8.00, the only thing they should expect is... Jeez, maybe no narrative? I just did one for another MSC for $30 and I thought that was fair for the time involved.
On a related subject, I, this year, accepted two mattress jobs for separate MSCs, with each listing a target. For neither was the target working on their scheduled day nor did either permit shopping the replacement; my calls and work were for naught. In the future, such work will either pay $50 or someone else can have the jobs.
I have never done and will not ever consider doing ANY shop for only $8.
Just saw one on MF. The store is less than half a mile away and I still won't do it.
SAME!! it's right around the corner. I'm hoping no one is silly enough to take it so it can get bonused.
FWIW there were 4 of these posted here when they first came out. Now there's one. Somebody's taking them, and not likely at a bonus.
But we don't want them!

I got a real hoot out of this shop because the MS that rolled it out sent out an email with the header something like, "BETTER GRAB THESE SHOPS QUICK BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING TO GO FAST!!!" Yeah right, 2 weeks later the board is full of them for the princely sum of $8. Don't they know unemployment is LOW right now? (Not as many shoppers perhaps) winking smiley. They must think we are sheep. Shops that require moderate or above narrative and interaction with the sales staff I do NOT do for only $8.
I'm interested in finding out how these shops go. I don't do any mattress shop for less than $30. Visit time is a minimum of 1/2 hour and can go an hour. Writing to the detail is another hour.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I'm seeing the $8 mattress shops too. Haven't bothered to investigate further because this company won't give you the FULL guidelines until you sign up. No thanks.

Not the worst I've seen though, there's another company that wants to pay $15 for a supermarket shop, OK but among other requirements you have to interact with 9 associates. NINE. Oh yeah no reimbursement. #yougottabekiddingme

I signed up for the one a mile from home. Why you may ask. I wasn't going to, but I really have very little scheduled this week and wanted to see what was involved. One of the first lines is that you should plan to wait up to an hour to be assisted.......a Sales presentation can take 30 minutes......... report is 29 simple questions and a small commentary. I'm still going to try it, but it seems like 20+ minutes on site, 5 minute report and travel time.... great deal for MSC at $8
Thanks Curtzey. I was wondering what it entailed. I agree with you. A lot of work for $8.
This is funny, just spit my smoothie out laughing . . . clean up on aisle one.

A Dad shopping the Ark-LA-Tex and beyond.
Last mattress shop I did a few years ago I thought I would have to call 911 to get out of there. I felt like I was in a hostage situation, If I did not buy something they were not letting me leave. Never again.

thx for the AM LOL. tongue sticking out smiley
They're at $10. I can't do several around me since I've done MS at those locations recently. A tough decision: if I go through the presentation, then I can;t do one of the $30 shops for 6 months at that location.
