JITB Starts on Monday

There are some on the board but not nearly as many. I took one so I could see the new requirements. Starting pay is a bit higher.
There is also now a chicken alternative and the possibility of earning a little extra for an extra step. Photos have changed slightly but you still don't have to go inside. I think at most restaurants it will be possible to do everything from inside your car.

I'm not seeing any with the MSC that I've done JITB shops for. Maybe they're rolling out in certain cities?
Actually I do see some now; they're just about 40 miles away. The base pay is a little bit higher than the starting base pay before. Hopefully that will gradually increase.

heh I used to put them in the same category as White Castle (i.e., never eat there). smiling smiley

Probably not as bad as Sonic, though.

I wonder if MFJ will chime in. He did 90 shops during a route last year.

I did a pilot shop in September for the new shops. Basically, higher base pay and three more photos. Extra $1 for measuring temperature is optional. Makes sense to raise the base pay since they would always bonus the shops a few days into the month.

I have one for Monday. Looking at guidelines, they no longer want picture of drive thru window so that is nice. So they added 3 and took away 1. The 3 they added look easy, can get prior to getting in dtive thru line.
I did mine and input it. The dumpster was behind gates so I got the gates and area around it. I hope that is ok. It wasn't hard but with all the pictures I forgot to GPS verify, luckily that wasn't mandatory. I spent $5.70 and the fee is $9.00 plus the $1.50 as I took temps. I may wait and see if the fee goes up before taking any more.
It's actually nice to skip the photo of the drive thru window since it's the only one you might be pointing a camera at a staff.
Mine was approved with no problems. I too am glad that the drive thru window picture is no longer required. The 3 new ones are easy and can be taken before getting in line at drive thru.
Have there been any more of these posted? I’m in WA... saw a single one of the new ones posted in September and didn’t look too bad. Missed them in Oct/Nov I think. I think they are only shopping 1x per location rather than 3... if that.

Unfortunately I made money on these with sheer volume — I won’t be doing them unless I can route 20 in a day like I was before. Eh it was fun while it lasted... honestly i was starting to eat too much Jack while doing em anyway lol
They've had soft roll out the past few weeks under the new rules.

The big roll out is Dec. 2.
Does anyone know if the list of acceptable thermometers is cast in stone, meaning you have to have the exact brand? I have one that looks exactly like one of the options they are suggesting, but it isn't the exact brand.
Fountain drink is now required (instead of free water), so make sure to wait for higher fees.

I've never done one of these, so I don't know of what or how many pictures are required. Is it feasible to take all the required pictures from inside the car? Through the windshield?

All the pictures are from inside the car.
Probably not through a windshield, but I've held my phone out the driver's window and had those accepted. Not ideal, but it gets the job done. Shooting through the windshield you have to deal with glare and getting your dash and/or hood in the picture.
