New shopper invoice question

Hi! I shopped 15+ years ago, and just got back into it this month. The only thing I'm confused about is invoicing.

I registered as IC PRO 100, but I'm not clear whether I need to generate invoices or if they are submitted for me automatically.

If I need to do it, do I do it after each job? At the end of the month? How do I submit them? I tried testing on one, it created a printable invoice, but I don't see any kind of submit button.

Thanks for helping a newbie!

They are submitted for you. The only MSCs you have to submit invoices for are Harland Clark and Maritz. There may be others, but they are not coming to mind.

I think IC Pro is like a "certification" that shows some companies that you're a real person, but from what I've seen in the forum here it doesn't really help much.

Remington Evaluations and SQM are two others where you submit your own invoices.
@ceasesmith hahaha! I'll try my best to explain it. I got it back in 2016 when I first started shopping. I think someone somewhere recommended that I get an account with Job Slinger (they offer a one month free trial, so I didn't pay anything) to help sign up with the companies that use the Sassie platform. From what I remember, they would autopopulate the information into the new companies saving you some time. JobSlinger advertised their "certification" of IC Pro and said it would help you get shops (of course, right?).

I forget exactly what I needed to enter but I think they confirmed my email, and possibly license too, and gave me a little "badge" that said IC Pro when I signed up with the Sassie companies using their site. I deleted my JobSlinger account so I would not get charged the monthly fee. I still have the "IC Pro" status for the companies I signed up for back in 2016. When I sign up for new Sassie companies now, there is no IC Pro.

You have to invoice for Mintel also.

I am an IC Pro. It's only for Sassie platform companies. You can do it through Jobslinger. I know it's helped me get assignments with at least one Sassie platform MSC because the project manager told me so (it was a company I had never done much work for previously).
Cirrus used to require an invoice, but since they're on my 10' pole list I haven't paid much attention. Anyone know if they still need an invoice?
RE: the IC PRO, I registered because, as I said, I'm new to the new MS ways, and it seemed like it couldn't hurt to validate my SSN and show that, yes, I'm a legit human peep.

Again, thanks for the responses!
I do not have a paid account and never have. I kept my free version of Jobslinger. See if you can figure out a way to reregister for their free version. I just got IC Pro status earlier this year after needing to do something on Jobslinger for a MSC that wanted a W-9. When I did that, I looked at all of the companies I wasn't registered with and did so, then upgraded my IC Pro status. I was really pleased to get the boon of work from that one MSC. And I suspect it helped me get preference on a few other shops with other MSCs as well.

I'm also registered on the FREE JobSlinger site and have my IC Pro Status at 100%....not that it makes much difference, IMHO.
thanks for that - just to be clear, I'm only on the free Jobslinger stuff as well. The IC Pro registration was free. I think there may be a paid upgrade, but I didn't pay for it.
I hadn't done a Cirrus shop in a year and they asked me to do a Targeted "Emergency" shop last month. And yes, they asked for an invoice.
