2019 Has Been Great Shopping Year!!

I just want to say thank you to all of the Great forum members, industry members as well companies and editors!

2019 has been my most profitable year!

I have been a member of the mystery shopping Community for 30 years. 25 years part time as I was a Senior Vice President of Global Sales for many different Fortune companies. I've always shopped as I loved it!

I just completed my dream trip of a month in Tanzania ,Africa including Safari with the majority of the funds from my mystery shopping/Inspection business, Mogul Mindset LLC.

We've had some ups and downs this year; good conversations, hard conversations and tough days but, hallelujah, we're still here!

We all must always stick together and help one another through the good and the bad. It is a lonely career choice at times!

For those of you that are just beginning and you're not sure if this is for you or you are looking to quit in 2020, DON'T give up!
Just think about changing your approach and your business strategy. It took me 3 concentrated years 2017-2020, of mistakes and learning to get to today.

This can be a profitable income in a gig economy! Especially in areas outside major cities.

Mystery shopping and inspections are about being very strategic in terms of research, geography, communication, networking and relationship-building within companies and industry. Know your NUMBERS! Track P&L, set daily revenue goals, watch your trends, create trendlines, and know your field business strengths. Create and market your brand!
Your blessing may be right around the corner!

Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy New Year! Please be safe out there!

Thank you to all of you on forum as well who have been a blessing with your support!

Agreed! This has been my most profitable year as well, although I haven't traveled the world. And I owe the increase to all the forum members - good, bad and ugly! You have all motivated me in so many ways. Organization, seeking higher fees, routing, self-presentation, the list goes on. All these things I have been able to improve on because of the excellent advice and insight offered by my forum buddies. I have also learned from fellow forum members what type of shopper/person I DON'T want to be, so negative posts have helped me too. Thank you all!
Each year I've mystery shopped I've exceeded the prior year's totals...until this year, when for personal reasons I chose to do very few shops starting in August. Even though my bottom line is smaller, I greatly appreciate the flexibility that shopping provides, and hope to start back up in the new year.

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product. Eleanor Roosevelt

Yes! The trip to Africa was EPIC! Got a chance to stand for first time in ground of my ancestors! It made all those late night reports worth it!

I love this! You are so correct!!!! This is a time for positive reflection and thanks! After my trip to Africa, it made me realize even more this year how to be thankful for every thing no matter how small!!! Merry Christmas to you!!!!!
This has been my best year. I recently retired and that gave me more time to mystery shop. I expect this coming year will be even better. My goal is mo money in less time. I intend to reduce my shopping days, but increase my total in fees. Now that I have the time and have found several different favorite Mystery Shopping Companies, I believe I will be able to meet my goal of mo money, less time.
May 2020 come in better. I only shopped from the end of Aug till now this year. I did not do great but I got around $600 a month so I did not do bad. Still not able to pay for my Chemo drugs but I get it through a foundation. But for that, I would need close to $10,000 a month.
