The new BP nonreveal dark audits

Well, i'm not sure the audits are actually new. I guess having it in the Presto app is new. Anyone have experience with these prior to Presto? I picked up a bunch of them because they seemed fairly straightforward, but I've been unable to get on the training call as of yet. On the other hand, with *other* gas station audits, I would have done so much better to have a training call, but honestly, I'm not sure I need one for these. I'm kind of curious if they really could be this easy, though.

The one that I did was simply taking a picture of the exterior to show the lighting.

They are having a webinar about these shops on the 6th. Check their website and you might be able to get more info. Please be aware that once these shops go live on the 2nd you only have 48 hours to do them or they fall off your board. That is they MUST be submitted by then. If you are in the middle of submitting and the 48 hours is up you will lose the shop. I watched the first webinar they had the other day. It was very informative. I live out here in the middle of Kansas so I haven't seen any shops in my area since BP and Amoco are more east coast brands. Good luck to you.
If you reserved any prior to today, the timer has started and they’re due at 7:00am CST Friday.
Mine said (before they went live that is) that 24 hours until the shop went live, and then 48 hours to complete. I'll have completed a bunch before the webinar on the 6th, but I figure I'll attend that. It's just kind of like horse/cart at that point.

I'm wondering... what do you do if you can't park across the street? I mean, some of the ones I have on my list are in rural areas. I'm not actually sure there's even going to be a shoulder that I can pull off on to take the picture.

@HonnyBrown, I think they want three pictures from this to upload, and then of course, they suggest taking a bunch of extra shots for each. In any case, how long did these take you. I'm scheduled for like 13 or 14 of these. It's about four hours of driving. I'm figuring these will take about 10 minutes, after I get the first few in. I'm just trying to decide how long I need to figure for each stop. Most my time is going to be driving between them, I think.
@CountryHick Thanks. Today starts my 24 hours, so hopefully I'll have them all in by then. I guess I need to check and see if I'll actually have any dark time tomorrow at all to do them.
Did they mention what to do about infractions? I know they say take a picture, but as close as I can tell from the guidelines and/or their video, the only infraction is if something is not lit properly. Did they mention anything else? Also, did they mention the "can't park across the street" issue, by any chance?

Thanks!
Anyone having trouble viewing the video in the guidelines? The URL says it's blocked. I am on my mobile device.
Where did you find the info about the webinar? I don't see it anywhere. I am doing 9 of them tonight.

In the past, I drive right on to the property if there is no parking across the street. I drive around in a circle and get strange looks sometimes, but who cares. I grab the photos and 'm in and out.

So these are super fast and you don't usually even have to get out of the car? That's what I was thinking when I grabbed 'em. Hopefully they'll be fairly quick like I'd planned.
So, is anyone able to reply to my question about the video? Is there any other links that ANYONE can suggest. Or share whats on the video so that I can take the quiz?
I took the quiz off the guidelines. I'll PM you the link to the video. I clicked on the picture next to the link. It takes you to YouTube and the link worked for me. I'm on my computer, so maybe it's a phone/youtube interaction? In any case, I'll PM the link.
I didn't find a video. I downloaded the guidelines. That was it. It's a simple shop. Take an overview photo to include the canopy and ground underneath. Take a photo of the C store. Take a photo of the MID. I think one of the quiz questions was wrong. It asks for two answers, but only one is the right answer. It was a which "two" question". It didn't make sense. I think they made an error in wording. I also think you need photos of infractions, like lights out etc.

@MsJudi @naivasna You both rock! Thank you! I overlooked the download guideline from Presto and was only looking at the information directly from the ipsos shop that was informing to me watch a video.

Hmm, I will look for your PM. Please excuse me, but this is the FIRST forum that I have signed up for. So pardon me as I get the lay of the land and the appropriate way to tag and reply to everyone.

I have completed a lot of these in the past where there was nowhere to park across the street. No shoulder even, not that standing on the shoulder is safe in a rural and very dark area. I have driven right onto the lot to take the photos and sometimes even got out of the car to get a difficult shot. no one cares. No one even notices. In some places finding somewhere across the street to park is the hardest and most time consuming part.
From what they said in the webinar as long as it's DARK, NOT twilight, NOT dusk, but DARK you can do these. Also, the shops will be rejected if the sun is coming up! They said if you have any questions about whether it's dark enough, you probably better wait a while to be sure. These sound like simple, quick shops and I'm really bummed there aren't any in my area. I hope everyone has fun doing them. Also, PARK ACROSS THE STREET from the store. The photo MUST have canopy top and PAVEMENT in the picture to be accepted. Good luck to all. Watch the webinar on the 6th as it is very informative.

I've seen posts about how we are taking jobs for less and less money. Is this the case with these audits? I only ask because on the webinar, they said that they wanted to avoid shoppers working with schedulers and receiving outrageous bonuses. Just wanted to make sure I'm doing my part to help shoppers get better pay.
This post includes information linking a client to an MSC and it is against the Forum guidelines.
It is hard enough in this gig without giving away the milk.
I have done several of these last year and you can drive on the lot or across the street. you can get the canopy and pavement parked in the corner of the lot. SUPER easy.
Where did I see the info about the difference between the old and new Helios buttons? I know I read it, but it's not in the guidelines on Presto, so where is it? I can't remember the difference and it asks on the form.

Feeling super stupid here (maybe I am!), but I can't for the life of me find the LOA. I was on the call (couldn't connect to webinar) a couple days ago and I think they said something about an email with "all the info." I've emailed the company twice, scoured my emails and clicked everything I could in Presto. I have three of them. What am I missing? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I hesitate to go without the letter, even though I know it's unlikely that anyone will notice me.

Edit: And there it is on the Presto assignment page! Which I looked at 50 times, right below the guidelines that I opened 50 times. I swear it wasn't there and that I'm not blind or crazy.

Well, 2 of the 3 I've done so far were Amoco not BP. I'm definitly at the right location. It makes answering the questions about the helios and colors a little tricky and the guidelines do not address the situation. Ugh. Did they say anything on the webinar?

Eta..this is not a brand change situation. The app says it is Joe's Amoco at xxx address.

According to the email sent out, we have 48 hours from 1/2 to complete the ones that we claimed once they went live. However, according to Presto, it is only 24 hours. Will some of the ones that I've claimed fall off of my board? If they do, will they be available for me to claim again?

They want you to do them from across the street so you don't even have to go on property. I did one last night and checked in from across the street. The app said, "You're close enough."

I did 9 last night. Had to do all at the station as across the street was not possible across 6 lane highways
