Five Guys and Law Enforcement

I believe I have shopped this location (handsome bonus) and have had mixed results. It’s interesting that this happened as I shopped a location yesterday where the FG employees were cursing and making derogatory comments. It seems as it the service has gone way down and I only shop here if the fee is $40+. Below is a link to a news article where an employee called the police “pigs”.

One of the employees took his lunch break at my Target across the street. He decided to shoplift. He was apprehended and detained at Target for well over two hours until the cops came to pick him up. He got fired. Lol dummy.
How stupid can that kid be?

Isn't it sad how we judge a company based on an individual employee's actions? I've been a victim of a couple "pigs" and their illegal and unethical car searches in my past, but I don't group the entire police force, like this thread's grouping Five Guys as a whole on their professionalism and correlating it to their experiences with their local locations. All my locations have been outstanding out here in Colorado, so I don't see any correlation with the news article you posted.

Either way, let's leave politics out of this, please?

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.

The employee is a representative of the company. A company can and definitely is judged by one employees actions.

I’ve have mixed results during my time shopping FG. Some good, some bad, just mentioning that I had a poor shop and then I see this article.

Not sure who brought up politics besides you.
The company comes out smelling like the proverbial rose, plus gets rid of a snotty employee without repercussion. The district manager took care of it immediately. The police chief said publicly, “It is definitely not the culture of this business. In fact, management and ownership is overwhelmingly supportive of law enforcement.” Good for 5 Guys. This is how it should be handled.

You did.... Look at your thread title; the title focuses on “Five Guys and Law Enforcement,” as opposed to your experiences with the franchise... Associating Five Guy’s view of law enforcement as a correlation to your personal experiences with your visits are your local Five Guys locations.... You posted it, not me.
