I feel like crying

I just completed a shop yesterday which consisted of a two hour tour that was voice recorded. I came home early today from work to submit the report. I thought the report would be simple as the entire shop was voice recorded. Nope. This survey was not even on the site it was linked to a third party site. There were 80 questions with a third being worded responses! I finished two hours later only for the last response to not submit and the page crash on me! That’s two hours lost sad smiley

I cannot even use my laptop to see all the questions. There’s no save button just a back and forth. I had to do that report on my phone. Now I have to start all over again. sad smiley

Definitely worth a cry. Although, it's always faster the second time you type it. Sorry.
Not that this will help much now, but a longtime ago I trained myself to press CTRL+A (select all) or on a hand-held device to PRESS & HOLD then tap SELECT ALL about every 2 to 3 minutes.
For the more important narratives I will ALT+TAB to switch programs to my email, create a new email (addressing it to myself) and pasting it (CTRL+V or PRESS & HOLD then tap PASTE) into the email.
I've lost wwaaayyy too many narratives before learning that it's up to me, myself, and I to save my work in any way possible!!!
Edited to remove ?????'s that appeared in place of my Happy Faces!

I saw your thread title, Luna, and thought "histrionics!"

Then I read your opening post. I want to cry with you. That is a lot of wasted time, energy and effort!

I just wanted to update this thread. I've been informed that all my hard work has not been for nought. The work was saved and is showing on their end. Thank goodness!

Thank you guys for sharing and understanding my pain!
Luna, you were fortunate and I am so very happy for you! I have lost reports before over the past 20 years and it's been painful and frustrating. I did learn to save my work when possible, but it's awful when that feature is not available. I am glad that everything worked out for you!
I feel very fortunate. Because I had work the next day and the idea of going back home to try the report all over again was depressing. The scheduler was nice and helpful. So I was fortunate in that sense as well.

So happy for you. Can you share which MSC was so nice. I always prefer to work for the ones that try to work with you when there is an issue rather, than sorry your problem, we won't pay you attitude.
The MSC is Norton Norris
