Any tips for car wash video shops?

Any tips for car wash video shops using the Mystery Media Pro app? I tried searching on YouTube for a How To video and couldn't find anything.

I use an eyeglasses camera. I don't like using my phone. My understanding is that, with the app, you want to mount your phone on the dash or windshield aimed in the direction that it will be primarily needed. The MSC for which I do the shops prioritizes a forward-facing camera... The glasses allow me to focus on different targets at different times.

What eyeglass camera do you use? I would like to do apartment video shops but I don't have very many tops with buttons so I was looking into an alternative such as glasses or jewelry such as a necklace.
None of the MSC's for whom I do apartment videos (pretty much all that do apartments!) will accept the glasses. You absolutely want to go with the PV500 button camera for that.

Regarding the shirt: You need a shirt that is used only for video shopping as you need to remove a button in order to set up the camera. Of course, the buttons on the shirt need to be very similar to the button camera, so you'll want to wait to purchase the shirt until you have the camera.

I don’t have one to recommend over another. I’ve had two different pairs, both given to me. They work the same and each produces good quality video. I can check the brand of my current pair tomorrow - they are in my car.

@Walters Mom
I have the YAOAWE Eyewear Video Recorder.

Remember that the recording time on eye glass cams is too short for longer video shops, all new homes, some apartments, most car shops, all senior living shops.

And, the glasses cams will not recharge in reasonable time from a char charger!

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
My video glasses advertise that they will record for 90 minutes on a full battery. I don't really trust that, but would feel safe at an hour. The longest recording I've had with them is about 15 minutes - when I was about 20th in line at a car wash.....

I think the biggest issue with them for apartments, etc. is that they are worn on the head (duh). We don't realize how frequently and dramatically our heads swivel with normal interactions. This movement makes a real mess of video work. It took a bit of practice just to acclimate to some unnatural movements for shorter visits that I do with them - such as valet parking - where the videos are typically under four minutes. Doing that for a 30-minute visit would be rough.

That said: They do have a much higher resolution than my PV-500.

Most MSC clients veto the use of ANY head-mounted video cam, because of that issue.

I was invited to do a series of video parking garage shops over the summer. I had to turn it down, because without my prescription eyeglasses I'm as blind as a bat.

@Walters Mom I would really ask Russell Wood at The Shadow Agency regarding how to use Mystery Media Pro for car wash jobs, if applicable. He has a method for so many different shop genres, and is generally available to chat about it.
OK. TY Eric. I would really like to accept a job but I'm not confident to try one without more knowledge.
