Is Anyone Still Mystery Shopping?

I was just assigned a few shops for May, but they were only telephone calls. Other than that, I have not seen or done any shops in the last few weeks.

Some of my April assignments were canceled. This was not unexpected, and I will not be surprised if these jobs are slow to return or do not return. I have scheduled one assignment for July. We will wait and see what happens between now and then.

I've only been able to set up drive-in shops where the carhop brings the food (like they always did). The restroom no longer is inspected. My gas station shops for April all got cancelled.
I did an Online shop, having to purchase a particular food product on amazon. I also did a few "shelter in place" grocery store shops. They are very easy now. Less requirements than before. I only took them if I knew I was going to the grocery store.( while wearing my mask)
Since March 15th, 24 Grocery stores, online jewelry purchase and returns, online food shops $25 reimbursement and $10 pay, waiting for my newborn baby products from two different companies to come in and ship out for a monthly fee, product retrievals/purchase and destroy shops, picked up defective products from 3 consumer's homes to ship back, 6 gas station closed audits to see if they removed signage and paint colors, 7 Walmart bank card signage shops, two online shark loan shops for credit scores over 700 and straightened out some dvd and audio products in the same stores as checking for credit card signs. I am only averaging about 4 shops a day now though as it has slowed down almost to a halt.
I had to be out in Walmart today getting some groceries, so I did one of those bank card signage shops while I was there today.
I have been visiting the carhop served burgers, in part because they keep calling. After delivering my food, the carhop returns to spray down the red button.

Dang, I’m not signed up with the right MSCs. I have registered with the main ones listed as well as a number of them that never have assignments in my area.

I AM
On a few days recently, there were plenteous well paid assignments-- several states away from me. Oh, well.

I am getting offers for grocery instore price checks for $12.

I don't even know what to say about that...
I did one shop for Market Force today. Came home to do my report and I checked the board while logged in. The board was empty, even when I extended the radius to 100 miles.

Picked up a pharmacy innovations shop that I'm doing today. Bonused to $20 plus up to $10 reimbursement. I jumped on that one like a frog on a june bug!! I've got an allergy problem with all the pollen around us here, so I figured this would be a good time to check out the "natural" remedies they may have and get paid to learn something!
Did my first shop in over a month at the local food coop. They decreased the number of interactions so it was okay. Got me out of the house and a car trip with little traffic.
I am almost thinking I should drive all the way to Montana to have something to do and do that post office shop for $150 and a few thousand miles to write off on my 2020 taxes! But i would have to stay at a few hotels on the way. Tried to get some of those online orders for $25 reimb but I guess Craving Cakes grabbed them all before I could get one.

Are people getting bonuses for shops right now, given the COVID-19 dangers?

I think it depends...I tried to ask for a bonus for the grocery store shops because of "occupational hazard" but someone else took them without the bonus. Too much competition lol. But, there's another shop installation shop that someone else "dropped" (it was scheduled earlier in April) so I picked it up and that had a bonus.

Glad you got a bonus on something (even if not on the other one). smiling smiley

I know if I were shopping right now, I'd be asking for a bonus on every single shop. tongue sticking out smiley

The shop I posted about a few posts above yours was bonused to $20. Since it was for a compounding pharmacy, I took it. It also reimbursed up to $10, and I ended up getting a starter pack of something called D-Hist, which is supposed to help with allergies. The pollen is way high around here now.
A couple of convenience stores this week and next Not much money but I have gotten bored staying home. First time in over a month. Mask, gloves, and hand sanitizer should be OK.
I needed to re-visit a merch location to add missing pieces that had not been shipped at the right time. I might have to re-visit a different location as well, depending upon availability of needed materials. (If yes, it will give a day in the wide open spaces. If no, it just means that I do not get an additional mileage deduction for an essential second visit.)

I duly wore my mask & gloves and managed not to giggle when the mask scooched up and tickled my bottom eye lashes. This cannot be healthy, but it might reassure some people who must see a mask in order to feel assured that something is being done...

Alta 360 still has some shops and a very few with large bonuses in MN, MT and SD. Probably out in the boonies. Just fyi for anybody who might want them.
I did a Raising Canes drive thru today. I happened to log in and saw it on the job board - only paid $10 but is 2 blocks from my office and I was hungry. I was just about to leave for the office - I have to check the mail 3 times a week. It's always a Ghost Town there. Nobody is working in the office right now except the Security Officers, Janitors and Mailroom. And on Sunday morning, it was just me and a lone security guard. Sweet tea and Chicken Fingers. Mmmmm so good.
I did a few of the car negotiation shops that were changed to phone/email communication. But they were a major pain in the butt. Nice to have a little work, though.
I completed my very first online shop, two days ago. Completed for the Canadian division of IPSOS. I was convinced that I had fracked it up (I feel that way after ever new to me shop I attempt. I am also so nervous before hand it is not funny). It is showing OK for pay, as of last night. Phew....I can still count the number of shops I have had rejected on one hand, yet I always think i have done something wrong, until I get the acceptance from the MSC. The agent I spoke too, was working from his home. I signed up for 3 more to be completed this week (the max they are allowing per week).

Someone local took my kinda-less-than-local lucrative grocery shop, since I haven't gotten any special offers from them in over two months. Phoey. But I did pick up another grocery shop for tomorrow with a flat reimbursement, and the new guidelines seem slanted towards safety standards and the like.
I've two apps pending with RBG for convenience store audits that have to be done by Thursday. Hopefully I'll get at least one, both would be great!
Hey, so...this is a mystery shopping discussion.
