Photos must have VISIBLE geolocation info....

When I read this the first few times, I assumed (yes, I know) that it meant photos must be geotagged...that’s nothing new. But no, they want the VISIBLE stamp ON the photo with all of that info showing. So far, all my shops have been accepted, but this is just a pain in the neck!

What does that mean? One can see the location, date and time on my photos when the details are clicked. What's the difference?

I have had to do this with apartment inspections, just to make sure I am at the correct location and being escorted. I assume there were individuals who may not have performed the shops correctly in the past. There is an app called TimeStampIt. Instead of taking a photo with your camera, open the app and take a photo. It will apply the date and time. Then save the photo to your camera roll. App is free. I use it for any shop that requires a time/date stamp.

For the electronic mystery shops that IPSOS has out now (not naming any clients), they want the geotag and time stamp ON the photo. So you don't have to click on it to see, it is literally written across the front of the photo.
Took me a bit last night, but I found a program that will look at the info embedded in the photo and then stamp it across the front. That works for us, because hubby is NEVER going to learn to take pics in an app, and I do all the reports...
Autostamper is another free one

The suggested apps (and several others that I thought might be useful) never downloaded/installed to my phone. I politely cancelled the few shops I had scheduled that required this unusual request. I could not have anticipated this issue and was surprised that it was a thing at all.

If you use the app TimeStamp It make sure you turn on location stamping in your settings. Otherwise, all you will get it the date and time.
I've done these in the past with the date and time on the picture. Only just realized it has to have the location too. I'll pass on these now. Too much aggravation for the fee...unless it goes really upward, that is. For Pete's sake...they have a photo of the store..Why isn't that good enough along with date and time? It's getting ridiculous with this stuff.

Another freebie is the GPS MAP CAMERA app for android. Have to endure ads but it does the trick for those electronic shops.
I have Also used the free app TimeStampit whenever the shop required the photo to have the time and date. I did not know I could also have the location as well. I just went to the app and under settings, activated the location feature which now stamps the photo with the city and state where the picture is taken. Really no more difficult than time/date stamping a photo. I might actually use this if I get to start travelIng again to keep my photo albums organized. I know the location info is in the photo info but this makes it more direct.
