Recommendations for wearable hidden camera?

Used to think I had a great memory - until I did some retail/grocery shops. The need to be incredibly detailed has led me to think I need a small, wearable hidden camera. The array of available equipment and the extreme variability of cost has led me to ask for recommendations from personal experience for some type of hidden camera recorder. Also, I'm not very tall (5'2") so cameras in buttons or a purse I might be carrying would not capture a person's face. Many of the camera glasses are so terribly obvious they can't be used. I would be very grateful for recommendations.

If this is never going to be used for video shops then try snapping a picture of the person & texting yourself notes about the interaction immediately after you interact with them. Or get a audio recorder/ use the one on your phone and as soon as the interaction is over talk to yourself, saying the person's name & physical description.

A good video system will run you close to $500, not worth it if it's just to double check your memory.

If this is never going to be used for video shops then use the video recorder on your smartphone. Turn it on and put it in your pocket with the camera lens sticking out.
