Are there any grocery cart audits/shops?

If not, there should be. ! Today, my cart was so liberal it pulled me and my hip all the way to the left! Ow! If ever I feel better, I would like to use my discomfort in a good [paid] way and check grocery carts. If I can prevent even one out-of-sorts cart from getting on the sales floor, it will be a good thing. tia.

The only job I am aware of (since I worked for the company for several years) that deals in any way with carts is the company that puts the ads in those frames that are attached to the cart. But that is really merchandising, and probably not what you would be interested in.
Thank you. That job sounds do-able. As an occasional merchandiser, I might not mind that too much and could consider one or two locations. Unless the signage merchandiser were also required to evaluate the parts, movement, etc. of the carts, an additional gig would be needed.

After I unloaded my cart, I studied it. Its little wheels were askew, and one was off the ground. It should have been in the cart hospital instead of on the sales floor. New wheels might have kept it serviceable. But whose job is it to know when and how to replace the wheels? Is this something for an auditor or merchandiser to do?

I would like someone to do an audit as to the cleanliness of the carts. Some of those hand baskets can get pretty gross.

Was this the classic loose wheel cart problem (you know how there's always ONE wheel that is not right....I'm talking to you Walmart carts!) that makes steering impossible?
I do enjoy Target's plastic carts. So light and easy to move around. Makes shopping less laborious and enjoyable. No messed up wheel thing like Walmart carts.
