Advance Scheduling?

Good Morning,
I have a question, is there some way of claiming jobs in advance of them being posted?
If there is , how would I go about doing that? I only ask because for the last 3 weeks most of the jobs I claim began showing up as claimed. Since that time I have consistently tried to claim any of these jobs just seconds after the Schedulers post but every single time I find all five of these gas stations claimed.
What can I do to have a fighting chance at getting me assigned?
Thanks for your time in advance.

This is precisely why I encourage shoppers to develop relationships with schedulers. This includes, of course, becoming known as a "reliable" shopper -- completing every assignment accepted, on time, and correctly. Etc., etc., etc.

Deal directly with your scheduler.

Many shoppers are offered routes/shops ahead of public postings.
Many of the very best shops are never, ever posted publicly. I have worked with some MSCs who have scheduled such shops for me months in advance. Some have contact me at EOM asking, "How many can you do next month? Are you only shopping locally or will you be in other states too?" And then there are the really great calls, "Hey just got screwed by a flake, can you do X today? I'll overspend the bonus budget bigtime if you can."
And many times it's just luck. The jobs usually hit the job boards before the emails go out, so it's probably just a matter of checking the board before the other guy.
