Results of a shopping experiment

As I am currently considering a SmartPhone, I checked my log and learned I had not accepted a cell shop in 11 years. That due to this type of work not having an acceptable work:pay ratio. However, for August Crickets were listing at $20 and then $25, so I applied for and was assigned two neighborhood visits. For both, the stores were empty and I was out in less than ten minutes. Add in a very short report that required minimal narrative and the hourly pay was approx. $40. I piled on 17 more visits at stores I was near in my daily travels and totaled $450 for very little work. In addition, only one pic of the store's exterior required; no receipts or business cards. Predicated upon August, I highly recommend shoppers consider Crickets for the future.

Sure, Crickets for shops, but not as a good carrier, I think. Several friends have quit them due to poor service issues.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Interesting. I loathe phone shops due to the fact that the associates are pretty much clueless about the questions I need to ask, over and over again. Never done Cricket, were they better in that regard? Or is there not a lot of product knowledge questions?
The only Cricket shops I've seen in my area are the audits, which I did and would take more if there were more closer to me) and existing-customer ones. No new inquiry shops, which I, too, won't do at the generally low rates. But at $20 or more, they're usually productive. But not at $12 or $15 or $16--like some of the ones I'm seeing around here.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
When the Crickets were at $20, I signed up for two; after completing those, I quickly grabbed three more. When the fee increased to $25, I scoured the board for those still available that did not require me to drive any distance and snagged another 14. My suggestion to anyone wondering is to try ONE.
