USPS Shop Editors?

Anyone know why the post office shops are taking so long to be edited? Without naming the company, other shops for that same MSC are edited within minutes (on the Sassie side), but I have post office shops sitting for over a week…

I don't do that company's post office shops but my SASSIE shops for the same company often sit for days before they are edited.
I am sure every project is different. The post office jobs in my experience are edited anywhere from a day to a week. I recently did 3 jobs same type for appliance shop with different company. I had finished submitting all 3 reports and like 5 mins later one got reviewed. The other 2 took another 2 days. There is no rhyme or reason. If one needs the money for reimbursements and simply can't wait 2 weeks for a review and pay then they need to do other shop that require no reimbursement. Now if it is about payment needed sooner and not reimbursement then I suggest trying doordash, instacart, Lyft, or Uber. I believe all 4 pay daily.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I've done some Sassie gas stations this week and most have gone through editing within an hour.
BuffaloNY101...I didn't mention payment or reimbursement, just the discrepancy in editing time.

I simply read between the lines. I also did not direct that part at you directly but as overall advise for all reading my comment. I highly doubt you get all your other projects with this MSC reviewed and graded within minutes of submitting the report. If you do great. I would expect any report to take 3 days minimum to a week max to be reviewed and edited/graded. If I got it edited/graded sooner it would be a bonus. If it had not been edited/graded within a week then I would send an email inquiring to the scheduler. I would not worry at this point.

I completed a job on that site on 10/14 and it is still pending.
It doesn't matter how often they pay if the jobs sits that long before being reviewed.
I got a note from a scheduler that they are way behind editing most jobs, and trying to catch up. Its a bit of a catch 22 in my opinion. They had a crop of new editors who appeared over the summer and were sort of awful, and now they don't have enough editors so keep up. So I'll assume they got rid of the bad editors, which is good. But now they need some new, competent ones.

Their Glassdoor reviews also show a ton of of turnover in the past few months from their full-time corporate employees, which likely explains why they are displaying operational issues across the business. (No response to emails, etc).
I noticed that there was a new scheduler for theses shops.. Wonder why she left? I believe she is still with the same company just on different shops now.

Like any industry, if one offers sufficient pay and respect, one gets good people. Failing to do either is not good for any business in the long run.
Anyone getting shops reviewed yet? Mine still pending and it’s been over two weeks.

I spoke with a VP ******* (MSC deleted) Learned the following:

1. They are weeks behind on editing, and don't see this changing any time soon.
2. Payments will now be processed about 3 weeks after a shop is finalized. While weekly payment go out, this doesn't mean you will be paid a week after a shop is approved.
3. Their attitude at ****** corporate is bad as ever, dare I say worse at this point.

The net net is if you are fine being reimbursed and paid for shops 4-5 weeks after you complete them, ****** is an option still. If not, steer clear.

What I am most confused by is how it differs depending on the project - my “red and blue” gas station shops are edited within minutes (and the editors are very thorough…). The “yellow” stations take a week or more, and the USPS shops take at least a week, if not two….

4-5 weeks is still pretty decent for most companies, but obviously it's much longer than this MSC is known for.

The amusing (or is it sad) thing to me is that they make such a big deal about requiring you to submit these shops on a timely basis, yet here they are sitting on them for weeks. Their client can't be happy with the slow turnaround.
