Did BJ's Brewhouse Move to a Different Company?

July's shops are posted. We went back this month and without going into details, I'll say that some stuff made me shake my head and I had a lot to write about. But the food was excellent. I tried their chicken thighs and fries appetizer as my entrée, and it was great, and my wife got a burger, only $10 since it was Wednesday. They had a promotion where you got a coupon for a free Pizookie in July if you donated $1 or more to Alzheimer's research (still available through 6/30), so I made a donation and have the coupon to use, and the shop allows coupons.

Maybe the third time will be the charm.

Nice and crisp, and lots of meat compared to wings. They had a smaller portion on the $12 lunch menu, but seem to have removed it.

They were out of thighs and only had wings the last time I went and so I did not order them. I do not like drumettes on wings.

My favorite lunch special is the grilled chicken alfredo. I love it when the pasta is al dente and there is a generous amount of grilled chicken. Wish BJ's would add a tad more sauce but I would still give the dish an A-.

@MisterBill Thank you for posting that they were out there. I don't login to the site that often. I much preferred it when they were on shopmetrics.

Are you getting alerts or did you happen to just see them and let us know? If there was a way to get alerts, I would probably be interested. I'm so used to the Sassie/Shopmetrics platforms and their notifications.

I miss the TAKE-OUT shops. I loved those the best.

I still get them on a Shopmetrics platform. I got an email saying that new shops were available, that's how I knew to look. If you're seeing them on Gigspot, I get emails from them about available shops as well.

I am quite happy with the current single shop being valid for lunch. This way, I end up with $10 more than I did previously when I took the lunch shop. And take-out doesn't work well for me since it's a 45-minute drive.

I never switched off shopmetrics, but because I had a gigspot account they moved me there. I much prefer the shopmetrics notifications. I get an email in the morning of available jobs on gigspot. Usually they are the same crappy shops day after day that none of us want. But if they add new shops during the day, I am not getting a notification.

With Sassie and Shopmetrics, it seems like when a scheduler adds a shop (or updates bonus or whatever), an emial notification of all the locations is sent out. I prefer that to the 1x early email with the crap shops.

I use a different email address on gigspot, so maybe that's why I can still access the Shopmetrics site. If you try to login, does it tell you to access via Gigspot or take you there automatically?

BTW, I resisted mentioning this, but it seems like there is no rotation on these shops, since I just did the shop last month. Odd, but I'm not complaining.
