Heck, most of their regulars are seniors!

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Was gonna grab one and it was gone. I guess there are a lot of eager eaters in CA. I have never been there. Worth a look? Even on your dime?
The blueberry pancakes are worth a special trip!

Shopping South Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania, and Delaware above the canal since 2008

It's mostly mimosas. They had a couple beer and wine offerings at my local restaurant. I have never ordered alcohol there though.
What is with the age 55 limit? Just turned 56!
I was going to do one but if you have to order some nasty alcohol..
Oh well..
If you are philosophically opposed to ordering alcohol, that is fine. Leave it at that. However, if you simply don't want to drink it, pour an easily noticeable amount into your partially full water glass. It won't be refunded and you don't have to drink it.

I don't drink or do any drugs. I've been clean and sober for 9 years. The only way I would do an alcohol shop is if I took a drinker with me. I like to drink my water. Thanks for the info, now I know not to take one. I always ask the scheduler first if alcohol is required. We have pizza shops in my area that require an alcohol purchase so I've never gotten to do one. As for cracker barrel, we did an overnight route and the closest decent place to eat was cracker barrel. It was alright but we ordered breakfast for dinner. We liked the Cheddar's shop. Fresh food.
I picked one up today and I'm looking forward to it. Reimbursement seems reasonable and it has a decent pay. I go there on occasion for breakfast and lunch not so much dinner but there's plenty there that I would not mind ordering.

Congratulations on being clean and sober for 9 years! One day at a time. Good for you.
I also like water with my meal. But if I go to fast food place I will get iced tea..

I would love to do an CB shop but like F and L I don't drink so I guess I will not do one.. Unless they have to go shops w.out the alcohol. then I will do one

Several years ago they did not sell alcohol. I wonder when they started doing that????
OF all things during COVID they started it here....desperate I think

Alcohol is a recent addition. Probably why the shops are specifically around recommendation of alcohol.

Love their pancakes! Unfortunately, I'm too old to eat there. LOL!
Where in the country are you seeing these?

When I applied for the one I did this week, they were pretty much all over where they have been approved to serve alcohol.
I did one the last week. Had to redo it from the week before, because I forgot to take a picture of my meal and beer. Last week I ordered the mimosa with my meal. I'm not a drinker, but I took a few sips anyway. I also brought a guest along and that was basically just a free meal with a couple of extra dollars leftover. I really only took it for the free food anyway not so much the fee.
