Someone here once said "I won't even drive around the block and park my car for $10." I stand by that statement!

I just wonder, the people who offer this kind of pay for a job requiring this much work,. what are they thinking? It's an insult. I did one report, never again. I sent them an e-mail telling them that. There are burger shops that pay better.

I finished the report and got a 10/10. I am shocked. I wonder if it's because of the shop. The restroom was filthy, the security tape on all the pumps were cut. One pump was held together with duct tape. Two pumps were missing noozles. Do really bad shops get approved faster? The shop report passed within hours.

80 pages? It woukd take an hour or two just to read all the material. No way!

That sounds like the green gas station. If so, the guidelines are mostly photos. A number of people on this forum do them. They're like a lot of shops- the guidelines make it look a lot harder than it is.

Once you learn they type of gas station it becomes quicker the more you do. Most Gas stations are similar each with different required pics. You learn quick how long each takes and shortcuts for each. With that said except for one Gas Station all are minimum $40 for me to do and thats if close with good warm weather. $15 pay or even $21with useable reimbursement not even if the gas station was next store to me. I have 3 gas stations at the end of my short side street. I won't do them at $12.50 pay. If I have time, no better work, its nice warm weather, and I need cash I still won't do for less than $30 pay plus reimbursement.

My one except is a gas station out west I did when living in AZ. It now requires a small purchase and to check if the clerk is nice and in uniform. Pic required of clerk if not in uniform. Thats it one pic potential plus receipt. This station all over and the shop on site maybe 5 mins. I will do those for base rate of $6.50 plus reimbursement. I can easy do 12 in a day if not more.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

For this shop it's $15 fee and $6 reimbursement. So it's really $9 for the shop. They want pictures of every pump, the station, sign and inside. Many questions on the station markings. Not worth it.

JitB can be $15 profit in 15 minutes. So no.

This is where specialization comes into play. Some people in urban areas with a concentration of shops can do ten of these in a day and finish the reports in time to pick up the kids from school. The MSC knows this and will wait to raise the fees.

Sounds like the blue, or the green, I do them every month, every quarter. I can do 5- 10 in a day but with a bonus. I live in a major metropolis downtown, all the gas stations are within a 20 miles radius so it takes traffic time to get to them. For some locations I got $800 for 2 stations, 150 miles roundtrip, no snow. Plus, I have not bought milk, toothpaste, eggs, etc for yrs from a supermarket. I know the instructions so well that I always keep a copy of the letter for the blue and the yellow in my car in case I need gas or drive near a good bonused location while I do other shops. I even pack a light neon jacket when I travel, never know when a good opportunity arises! The guidelines only change for the marketing every month.

No. I won't do these unless they're highly, highly, highly bonused.

LOL, no. They always lowball those stupid shops. No way do I want to upload dozens of pics for $15 and a tiny bit of gas.
