We went from 48 available shops yesterday evening to 12 this evening in my shopping area.
I got eight. It keeps me on track to spend nothing out of pocket for food for the month. I am single so I try to cover all food with grocery and restaurant shops.
I got 7.. I'm probably going to have all of the ingredients that I will ever need to make every kind of salad dressing I ever wanted by the time it's all over.

I went back and grabbed a few more..

I got a bunch and 8 pickups.

So glad they posted the pickups around the same time as the in-stores -- made planning much more efficient!
Oh man, I see no pickups. Wonder if I missed ALL of them or if they are coming out at different times in different regions.

New Krogers just posted and this month they include competitor pickup jobs!!!
I got a competitor pickup and several Kroger pickups. And the corresponding mystery shops for the same locations.

And yes, i know that doing these this way isn't consistent with my rules about never taking a shop for less than double the base pay. But old women need to eat, and we prefer eating for free, and at home.. lol
I grabbed 7 Kroger pickup jobs and see tons of the self-checkout and regular check-out jobs. I've done the pickup before, but not the checkout ones. In my area they pay $9 and reimburse $9. Anyone done these? I'm curious if they'd be worth my time.
I started doing the in store shops last month. They’re not too bad. You can preview the guidelines before accepting. I tend to save my produce for the in store shops so I can make sure it’s not moldy or bruised ????

Krogers are so densely packed in my area that I can easily do three at a time within 10 miles of my home. So yes, I find it worth it to do the in-store shops for $9 + $9.

And best of all, they let us stack the in-store with pick-up jobs at the same location at the same time, so then you're talking $9+$9 +$32 for two jobs at a single stop!

Still plenty of them in Southern California. Can you drive to Malibu?
I got zero. There were over 500 listed in my area yesterday. There's a little over 100 left in far out areas. I apparently waited to long deciding.

I used to do these with the other company, but only when bonused at my local stores. Highly bonused for locations w/o direct highway or freeway access.

Do the stores have shopper rotation requirements? Is there a max allowed? Are shoppers really able to snatch up 20, 40, 100 shops?
They have finally posted one in my area. It is 9 miles away., I took it as it works out perfect for me as I will be right by there doing 3 other shops and doing errands in the area anyway.

Yeah, I don't see any pickup jobs at all. Wonder if there weren't any or if somehow I could be blacklisted... hope not!!

Any guestimate for how long they take you? I've been doing pickups but it feels like a lot more work for the instore shops. Thanks for your help!
I thought they would take a long time too, that’s why I held off for so long. If there’s not a wait for checkout, maybe 10-15 minutes in store? Takes a little bit to walk the sections and “send a text” (get names and shop details). Then the form takes a bit longer than the pickup, but not noticeable enough for me to complain about since it’s multiple choice.

I’d be curious if this aligns with the time other shoppers take. Maybe I need to move faster.

I'll have to try some out. There are no pickups in my area. I was hoping to be able to do two at one location to make it more worthwhile. I do find it takes a while to get all the required items in budget for online so maybe it's a little easier picking up three items in store. It would all just be better if gas wasn't sky high!

You're welcome to buy more than three items. Three is the minimum. And same thing with the pickups. You can do a lot larger of an order than just the minimum amount.

Oh, sure but I do what I'm going to get paid for and maybe only go over a pinch. I don't regularly shop there and prefer what I get elsewhere.
Very simple questions, no narrative. Review the guidelines first though.

It takes me an average of 25 to 30 minutes in store, the longest has been 55 minutes. I'm in a rural area and the three stores I shop seldom have more than one produce clerk working at a time so there can be extra time waiting for the clerk. (I've done these shops often enough that I know when the produce clerk takes lunch break.)
I try not to do my shops around 5:00 pm; on the day I took 55 minutes I was there around 5:15 pm and the checkouts were filled with after work shoppers, two cashiers were working and I couldn't use self checkout.

You are only required to visit visit the produce department 2 times in an attempt To speak to an associate in the produce department. You are not required to wait for them to return from their break or from their lunch.

It takes me the same amount of time. I usually input shop in my car. Especially if I'm doing a few in 1 day. That takes about 5 minutes.

Oops, I should clarify I only check 2 times so it takes no more than 5 minutes, but I know not to go during the time they have lunch or I'm not going to find anyone.
