Has anyone done the HP paper and ink shops?

Then there was the other one. I did one of the more involved types that included way too much for the low fee. Won't be doing that again. It took a ridiculous amount of time with a crazy amount of info needed. I believe they have cleaned it up a bit, but I still won't do it. I stick to the easy in and out ones.
above emphasis added by me (guysmom)....

Well, I did an office supply store this past week. They cleaned it up by taking out the requirements to check all the laptops and printers, so yes, that helps. But they still -- for this particular audit -- want you to count every unique ink and toner peg and then count the OOS, and then list the product item/ID numbers (up to 10 if that many OOS) for both the ink and toner. So, yeah, still a pain. But the MSC had noted that the report was simpler now, so I was curious......nope, no more without PAD for that one!!!

I agree. I sent them a picture of how messed up the ink display was. I won't do anymore.

I think there are a few different types of these. The "Office Supplies Audit" is the easy and quick one. I do it at the office supply retail store and it's fast.

I know you are right. I did one several years ago where you went in and told an associate you needed a printer cartridge for a certain printer and to see if they offered a non-OEM, similar replacement refill or the original manufacturers refill. When I did mine, the employee went as far as to check the prices on the Internet and offer to price match those if they were less.

Now that shop I would do again in a heartbeat. It might have been with a different MSC though I can't remember

The shop with the current MSC asks for "discrete" pictures of all the inks, the book that tells what ink you need for your particular printer and the one I did, photo and other types of same brand paper in another part of the store.
