Minted Shops?

Has anyone done one? They seem pretty straightforward, and I see some things I would like on that site!

I did one that was to purchase a gift (not the personalized greeting cards). It was very straightforward.
@grille glad to hear that. I have one tomorrow for an custom art.

This was deleted by me, due to my poor eyesight reading Mintel.

I have not done one but I am a consumer who loves Minted and the products they offer. I have used them for invitations, personalized birthday decor as well as bridal shower and baby gifts. I like to support artists. :-)
Wow; I just grabbed the last one for "gifts" and I hope I can get what I'd wanted. The one I knew would work for the artwork I wanted was gone this morning (bet one of you grabbed it--LOL!). I was waiting for a response from the scheduler on a question I had; he answered last night, but didn't answer the question! Anyway, even if I can't get artwork for the "gifts--other" shop, there are some other gift items I'd like, too.

I missed out on these opportunities. I never could get one of these shops. They were gobbled up by other, eager shoppers. Alas.

All I ever see for the Minted shops are "Holiday Cards"....why would I want to buy holiday cards after Christmas??? Are y'all seeing things other than Holiday Cards??? If so, I envy you!!

There were a few "gifts" shops sprinkled in amidst all those holiday card shops. I had to wade through many before I found them. There were only 2 or 3 left last night and only 1 this morning, which I grabbed as fast as I could.

And I can get artwork, so I'm going to buy a piece I was admiring.

Don't you hate when that happens?

"Holiday Cards" includes Thanksgiving, Valentines Day and other Holidays. Quantities start at 25. Some do not need photos and can be used over several years.

I did custom art today. It was very easy.

I hadn't wanted custom art; I'd hoped to order one of their ready-made pieces of artwork. But those aren't listed under the gift category, so I have to decide on something else. I might do a throw pillow or tote bag or a drawing of our house. The shop that I saw last night included gifts and home decor, but the one I have is just "gifts--other." That, according to the scheduler, includes any items listed on the site under "gifts." Ready-made artwork, except kids' art, isn't listed as a gift.

I did one of these, but this is my first shop for the company doing them. What is their payment schedule like?
Pretty much the same as other MSCs--you get paid the month after you do the shop. And I've found that they pay on time, every time. They do deduct $1 from your payment if you get paid via PayPal.

Well, talk about confusing instructions! I re-read them prior to doing the shop, and they seem to be contrary to what the scheduler had said. "Gifts--other" is, according to the instructions, any gift category other than the specific categories listed on the Minted site (customized art, home items, photo calendars, bags and accessories, etc.), not any item from any of the gift categories. I ended up ordering a piece of artwork, not the custom piece I'd planned on since that's covered in a different category. I got a "gift" discount while checking out, so I assume Minted considers this a gift. I sure hope that qualifies!

This MSC usually has very clear, unambiguous instructions, but the wording on this one regarding the required purchase isn't very clear!

Well, I'm so impressed by Minted's customer service. I would order from them again even if it's not for a shop. Their stuff is too tempting, though, so I'd better stay away!

The minted report was straightforward as I did the email/gift home scenario. The personalized ones had a few more steps and could be confusing. I love minted's quality and art work.

Mine specifies "Gifts - Photo Calendars, Photo Gifts and Custom Art" with a $90 reimbursement. Even with the reimbursement, it looks like I'll be paying out of pocket because the custom art shipping is like $10+. I order a photo calendar every year through Shutterfly, so I don't need another one.

What exactly are "Photo Gifts?"

I did custom art and got something for just under $70. If i went to the next size I would have paid a little bit of money.
Are we allowed to use promo codes? I have a 20% off and free shipping that would really help out. I didn't see anything mentioned in the guidelines.

Yes you can use promo codes. I used the 20% off after getting confirmation from Ryan Pinter.

My niece who recently got married used Minted for her save the date cards. Twice due to Covid. They were beautiful!
It’s a very straightforward shop. You just have to make sure that you actually get some thing that comes specifically from the right category. There are some things that you feel like should be in that category that are not in on this particular one.
Ok, one more question (I emailed Ryan @ STN but await his response). I'm doing the Email/Post-Order. I placed the order and emailed Minted with my question. According to the report, it states the Shop Start Time for Post-Order scenarios is "the time you are submitting your report" and the Shop End Time is 1 minute later than the start time.

This is confusing to me. Am I correct in assuming that I must wait to receive the product before doing my report? And for the Start Time, I'll enter the day that I write/submit the report, rather than the day I placed my order. My assignment has a date of today, but it will take several days to ship it, so I won't be able to complete my report until the estimated delivery date of 1/12/22.

I don't know why I'm finding this assignment so confusing!
I had the same question with a post order scenario and emailed Ryan. He replied that I wait until my item is delivered and said he would adjust the date for me.
