I am reminded of the expression, "It is better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission." Conversely, "It is better to ask for permission than to beg for forgiveness." You need to decide which expression applies to this situation vis-a-vis you and your wife. Personally, I suggest getting permission in advance.

Nothing against the shop it just surprises me the cost of required things there! Inflation hit there too! And the tip amounts!!
Unless the guidelines have changed, many months back another male shopper said the instructions were 40 pages long and the shop was not worth it. A licensed private investigator should be doing the shop since it does involve potential illegal behavior from the stripper if she offers "extras" in the private room.

I've been several of these, and it pays decent but is a lot of work. It's also very seedy and it makes me feel creepy. The report is not trivial, and there are a lot of interactions that are required. I have decided, that for me, the pay is not worth it.

Seeing as the client hasn't been mentioned, does anyone have the name of the shopping company?
If I could get my husband to sign up as a shopper, I'd suggest he do this shop if it's easy; that $80 fee is pretty attractive! My son would like this, but he'd be so busy picking his eyes up off the floor, I'm afraid he'd miss the observations and interactions he'd need to be paying attention to.

The ethics of strip clubs aside, I can't imagine why anyone would do these shops these days. I would imagine that these clubs are full of unmasked people, many of whom are unvaccinated, in close proximity to one another. I also can't imagine that the money hungry club owners have installed plexiglass barriers to keep people separated nor invested the big $$ needed to install advanced air cleaning systems.

Actually, my husband won't even eat in a restaurant these days, with the pandemic rampant again in our area. So even if he were otherwise willing to do one of these, he wouldn't exactly because of that. Yeah, I doubt people are social distancing and wearing masks in these clubs....

I stopped shopping bars, nightclubs, hotels, casinos, strip clubs, and dine-in restaurants when the pandemic began, and I will refrain from shopping them until this pandemic has passed. It's too bad, because I earned a lot of money from those shops.
I want to do these so bad, lol but they never let me because I'm a woman. I've asked!

Do you have to wait to be offered the shop? Can't you just apply for it from the job board? I used to go with my wife all the time to these shops. There were a few women who got lap dances during most of my visits.

Me too! However, The closest location to me was 150 mi away so it wasn't appealing.
