I haven’t found the golden arch company since the old days.

I don’t know the happy star company.

Obviously the JiB is easy to find.

I’m with about 70-80 companies, but haven’t found much of anything on almost all of them.

Is this a pandemic thing?

Or do I need to use the non Shopmetrics non sassie company I never use?

Golden arches shops were gone years before the pandemic.

I think the happy star company is done by different companies. I have done them in Southern California with a SASSIE company, but they don't have all the locations. Another company (shopmetrics) has them too. Just depends on the franchise group.

as far as MCD....i haven't seen those in years when with a huge company based out of Georgia.
Thanks for the input. I still haven’t found the happy star company, but that’s ok.

I have seen (non) McDonald’s shops where you photograph their promotional materials haha. So if one really wanted to they could simply use that money for their food.

Del Taco is sometimes around.

No Taco Bell yet. Hmmmm.

I've seen Taco bells. I've seen a bunch by the same company that does grocery stores and I-9 verifications. It's a bunch of merchandising type work where you still have to order something and get reimbursed. I've also done a ton of routes where they're looking at consistency of a particular menu item. Those come annually.
I did a Taco Bell during the "reopening" of the economy after the first pandemic wave. Not sure if the same MSC has them because I had a run-in with that company later and don't work with them anymore.

For Mickey D, as mentioned above, there's a company that has signage audits for them, but that's all I've seen. The funny thing is if you call the company that once had them, the automated answering system would lead you to believe they still have them.

Haven't seen the "happy star" restaurant either.

I know of one "happy star" restaurant that is shopped because it is part part of a larger location that is shopped. The larger location is shopped with attention to exterior, interior, and restaurant conditions. At least one larger location has the "happy star" restaurant which the shopper must evaluate as part of a comprehensive review. I would have to search online to find out how many of the larger locations have the "happy star" restaurant in them.

The one MSC that does many of the "Happy Star" locations in CA is also the firm that does the west-coast cult burger chain with the arrow. They generally don't list the shops on the job board as they generally get assign by schedulers first. If you look on the Kudos/shout out board, this MSC is generally one of the most lauded with friendly schedulers and insanely fast payment.
I love them. I just started working with them because I never saw jobs. Low and behold started getting emails. Incredibly friendly and helpful and quick payments. I saw one location in NM and it was gone. Poof! So is the trick they just have their people who do regular routes?

After you establish yourself with them, you will get personalized emails asking you to do specific locations. What you see on the job board or in broadcast emails are the locations they could not schedule initially. Usually these are remote locations.
