Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse, Others

Here in SoCal, a little burger, little fry and fountain drink was 17 and change. The 14.50 reimbursement didn't cover it. The pay was 20 bucks though.
There's another thread here where people complain about FG prices. Can we keep this thread to TRH and BWW?

Is Buffalo Wild Wings or Texas Roadhouse still doing mystery shops!? Any other good restaurants that are chains participating? Thanks!

I wouldn't describe either as good. Indeed, I can't think of a single chain comprised of good restaurants. Good restaurants are almost always stand-alone operations, be they fancy or whole-in-the-walls.

In my area, there are dozens of very good Italian restaurants, yet people routinely suggest Olive Garden when a space becomes available. And chains can certainly be good. But you're not going to have a great meal at a chain.

It's too easy to generalize. I think you can go to a good chain (fleming's, Ruth's Chris, Lawry's), but certainly on the bottom end of things, I do NOT consider Chili's, Applebee's, etc to be good.

But everyone's definition of "good" is different. Some people might think Weinerschnitzel or Yoshinoya is good. Those are 2 places I wouldn't touch, but apparently they are profitable enough to remain in business.

I haven't seen BWW in a long time in my area. No loss to me. The few times I shopped them it was nasty and way below standards. Certainly not worth it.

IKR... they have definitely lost their fastball.

In the Rio Grande Valley, there are shops for BWW but they are bar compliance shops.

Just be cool folks.
I do the BWW bar compliance shops. On average, it seems that the middle-aged lone female customer gets a lot less attention from the bartenders than couples or single guys. Anyone else experience this?

Definitely, I have often wondered how a woman as big and as colorful (I wear big bright colors, because hiding behind dark colors is NOT my style) as I am can be invisible to the naked eye.. Doesn't really matter where, I have the same issues with invisibility at Costco and Best Buy as I do in restaurants and bars.

Now y'all got me googling the MSC for Texas Roadhouse. All I ever see with the MSCs I work for are Sonic, Panda Express and Jack in the Box. smiling smiley
The shops I have been doing at Texas no longer require a photo of the food so it is much easier

I always take pictures of my food, so it's not a big deal for me.

Are you talking about the curbside pickup shops? Those are the only ones I've done that have required pictures of the food.
No the sit down shops and bar shops do not require any photos of the food. They did require photos several years ago
