Ignore if you're busy

Ok -just weird- whenever I am putting in the employee name from the national burger chain from the receipt it's always the same name! It's always this unusual (not common) name. I shop dozens of locations. What's going on!?

You are not naming the MSC or burger place. I can make a good guess that it involves too many guys and it's overpriced, but I am not 100% sure.

I had one location near me where either 4 different people were named Stuart or the same person logged into the computer/register every day. Not sure why it would happen at multiple locations though.
I've also seen many places where the name is "cashier" or "cashier" followed by a number. If you are seeing the actual same name on receipts from various locations for the same business, that is strange. But If I have guessed the correct burger place, they don't wear name tags and don't seem to put an emphasis on employee names. It's funny they will ask for the customer name though. The cult West Coast burger chain doesn't ask for names and they just call order numbers, but ALL of their employees were LEGIBLE name tags including the managers.
We once had a client who would let their servers put nicknames into the register. We also have a policy to include the name on the receipt on the report if it doesn't match the name tag (e.g., Karen (Steve on receipt)). So, a lot of our reports for this client read (fake names and nicknames):
-Frank (Red Powerranger on receipt)
-Silvia (Donkey Kong on receipt)
-John (Hot pappa on receipt)

I've never run into having the same name over and over, but I've always noticed that in the no-name-tag burger chain where you can get peanuts, I'm always running into situations where I might get a blonde woman as the cashier and the name on the receipt is "Bruno F" ... wonder why they bother asking for the cashier name off the receipt since crew members clearly take turns at the register.
All of the fast casual burger place receipts from multiple stores around me say "Two C" is the cashier's name. It seems appropriate to me because they don't have name tags, so they really don't want their crew members identified.

Yes I’ve noticed this effect as well.

But 100% the same unusual name at different locations on the receipt. Regional owner or something?
I do a certain Five Guys location and the cashier name is always the same male name, even though every single time it's females (different ones, not the same one) who ring up my order.
They use the manager log in. I have seen that at the group of guys and many fries place. The name on the receipt is the manager on duty and they know the pass code, hence why one question is description of the cashier and then there is receipt name for another.
Maybe it's the General Manager's name. The GMs are typically over numerous stores.
