Gas Station Mystery/Reveal Shops

Just curious. What is the least you are willing to take for a mystery/reveal gas station shop/audit?

If the shop provides decent reimbursement, the least I will take is $25 (and that is if the shop is pretty much in my back yard). If I can catch several that are close together for $30-$35, I will add lower payers, but never for less than $25. I passed a location in a route last week because I offered $25, and the offer was declined. I was glad it was declined at the end of the day - I ended up grabbing an extra $80 while on the road for 3 simple shops that probably took less time than that shop would have taken. I will travel an hour or two if I can grab one for $50-75, but not for only the one shop. I generally will not drive outside of an hour unless I can make a minimum of $200. It has worked well for me, and I don't travel far. I used to love these shops, but I do not perform many these days because the fees are meager, and I only shop part time. I put in my days of doing low paying shops over 18 years ago when I first started this gig.

Depends... a marathon reveal shop is MUCH different than a BP reveal shop. Location plays into my calculations, required purchase, and other things like how many other locations nearby can I pick up. I don't think I have a set price.
Minimum for me is double the initial offering pay. But that doesn't apply to all of the gas stations, just the ones that I do the most. I expect a little more from BP because they are harder to get and difficult to do in a route because they are so spread out. I did a lot of Shell stations last quarter at a lot lower pay than I normally would have because someone was gobbling them up and I really needed to work.

I will do the simple ones like marathon and citgo for as little as $15 each, but there has to be a route that will make me enough money to put in the work. I have offered to do marathon and citgo routes, only to have the scheduler gut the route and offer me a bunch of spread out stations that won't cover the cost of driving away from the house, let alone the cost of driving between the stations.

Plus I have to take into account for the limitations of my knees. The stations that require more effort and more work, I generally stay away from until they are over $25, if I have to drive a long way they have to be over $30.
Lol my coworker keeps taking shops for 12.50 and messing them up.

That’s why we can’t have nice things.

Honestly good shoppers deserve $50 an hour minimum- that means a 30 minute gas station shop should pay $25 AT LEAST
For me, it depends on brand. We all know some are more intensive than others. I am a route shopper so if they are far apart $50-$100 each. If I can pull different brand together for one small city I do them for $25-$30. I never do them for $7, $12 or $12.50. They take 15-20 min plus another 10 min for report if the station has 8 or less pumps. More than 10 pumps increases the price by $1-2 per pump depending on brand. Those Yellow stations with 32 pumps ? No less than $100. As long as people keep taking them at the low ball offers, they will not increase them. With gas at $3.65+ a gallon even the reimbursement doesn’t make it worth it to get “free” gas. If you are thinking about doing gas stations make sure you figure out your mileage vs reimbursement and time involved to get an accurate picture of how much you are really making.
While it varies depending on route and state of economic desperation, I typically wait for bonuses to take the red/blues to at least $25 and the red/yellows to at least $30. The fact that I will be paid the following week makes it worth doing for a bit less depending on my cash flow needs.

And I will take as many red/blue conditional reveals as I can get my hands on to fill in stops between the others. I make sure to check the job board first thing every morning as availabilities change regularly with rotations.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
