Visa debit card shop

I appreciate any help from those who have done these shops. I'm trying to find out if you get full pay in the case that the business does not charch a fee for using Visa and you walk out with no purchase. Still waiting on the scheduler's response and trying to make a route here. Thanks guys.

If they do not charge anything, you are not supposed to make a purchase.
Just take pictures of the storefront and any signage and you're good to go!
I have been paid in this instance.

Full pay? All the scheduler said was that "you get partial payment for any shop you don't have to do the full shop"... I understand if they don't take Visa at all it's $2, but I'm asking her about this no fee scenario which I expect is most common. These locations are 1-2 hours away- I need confirmation of payment details. Thanks for your response.
Yes, full payment for the no charge.
I have one I'm planning to drive to next weekend when I'm going to be closer.
Those bonuses are getting sweet

Random businesses.
They are insta shops in presto
Thanks so much for clarifying for me. Happy shopping.
I just picked up a number of these at end-of-round for $50 and $65 — was totally worth it — slotted them in between my usual grocery store route and added a quick (and I mean quick) $300+ to my weekend.

That said — did they only schedule them in the app this time? Pre-pandemic these were done on the regular platform over a couple years — there were a few specific locations — but most of them were “pick any store that charges a surcharge” — it was $8-$20 depending on the time of the month plus you had another 8 for a purchase, which you made regardless. I *cleaned up* on these… I hit every convenience store I could hit that I knew had some sort of minimum purchase or surcharge (which is most of the mom and pops) — even with the overpriced convenience prices I bought a lot of canned food and sauces I would otherwise buy at the grocery store and made many hundreds since there were so many and they were “pick a location”.

This time around it seems they put them in the app, only had specific locations, and now you don’t make a purchase unless there is a surcharge, and only then if it’s for Visa Debit — which is funny because if they accept Visa they automatically accept Visa Debit — and Visa is ran as credit (running it as “debit” runs it over Interlink or Accel or whatever the debit network is on the back of your card) — that said the purchase reimbursement was $12 instead of 8 — but only if you made the purchase because the surcharge was for “Visa Debit”.

But yes — the end of month high paying bonuses were nice… I just really hate the app.
I asked about those shops when they first started and they told me that I had to have a Visa credit card and I don't have any credit cards. I was told that a Visa debit card didn't qualify. So i never did any of them.
I have a Visa card that I only use for mystery shopping and so far I have picked up a couple of hundred from paying it off every month. As long as the spouse does not get ahold of it.

This is a first time I've seen the Visa debit card mystery shops, before that I only saw Visa credit card shops and that was always in the app.

Before Visa debit was in the app, was it the sassie system or their other system?
I got a visa debit card about 5 years ago specifically for these shops. Unfortunately this round they did not have any in my close area and when I finally found some about a 45 minute drive away with no free parking (that is about 8-10 miles where I live) they were all at restaurants where the least expensive menu item was $12 or more. They were all sit down type places where you could not just order a cup of coffee from the counter. I did not notice in the rules that these could be done without a purchase and by the time this thread started with that news they were gone.
