Arby;s Waygu Steakburger -- YUM!

This is the LTO this month. Standard presentation is: generous meat, thin sliced red onion, thin sliced tomato, lettuce, pickle, sauce that reminds me of a BigMac, and a sturdy bun that holds up to the juice and sauce. Oh, and cheese. Interesting that the onion is under the meat and the other stuff on top of the meat. Does affect the flavor, in my opinion, favorably.

Of course, I have no idea if it's really Waygu, but it's definitely excellent quality beef.

I heartily recommend this LTO! I have 6 scheduled, have completed 2, and both were excellent. If you like a good burger, go for it!

I was wondering about these. Most of the time I am shopping early in the AM and afternoon. They're dinner shops, so I avoided. I heard from someone else they were quite serviceable. Maybe I need to make a move.
Has anyone figured out the frequency of these shops? They don't see to fall on a monthly basis. I know Panda Express is on a mid-month schedule as well. They post in the middle of the month and get bonused as we approach the middle of the following month.

I'm just wondering if anyone has figured out a pattern with these Arby's shop postings and how frequently they get posted and how close to "end date" are we to know whether they will be bonused soon.
My scheduler was able to change mine from dinner to lunch, but couldn't change the dine-in to drive thru.

But all my locations are "hard to fill" -- they may not be able to be so flexible where there are more shoppers.

My understanding is I must have my remaining assignments completed by the 18th, if that helps anybody.

That burger's like ten bucks! I went into one place today to try one because of your glowing review, cease. But I saw the price and about-faced fast, quick and in a hurry. Nope. I'll look for the shops though and sometimes the restaurant is included in a truck stop, now called "travel plaza," shop.

I've been watching for one near me, but apparently they were all grabbed as soon as they came up!

I've told my husband for years that if Arby's had burgers, they'd be the best FF chain around--or tied with Hardees. I'd pay full price to check one of these out!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I wouldn't get that excited about the Arby's burger. I had it on Saturday as a shop. It was okay, but I will take 5 guys or In N Out all day every day over the Arby's burger.

If' I'm paying out of my own pocket, I will take In N Out over everyone else.
Prices must be lower here. Also, I was given (without asking!) a 10% senior discount.

Total for combo was quite less than $10.00

$8.86 at one, $9.36 at the other.

It was okay. I would have liked to try it plain. There was so much crap on it, I barely tasted the burger. I paid 9.48 for the combo.
What is an "LTO?"

One of the survey's questions was "Did you make any alterations to your entree", which implies to me (perhaps wrongly) that alterations would be accepted. You can always e-mail the scheduler and ask. I do prefer no cheese, and plan to ask the scheduler. If they think it will throw off the timing, they won't allow changes.

If I get a response, I'll post it here.

Thank you, Morledzep.

I went into this shop thinking that I was only going to take a bite or two of the burger because I only like a few things on my burgers. However, it was so yummy, I ate it all!
This Waygu scenario was posted like almost 1 month ago. I doubt they have many left to fill. Maybe if the response is good, they will repeat the scenario again. I only saw the nasty spicy fish one offered 1x, so maybe not enough people were interested in that menu item.

Two recently bonused locations are conveniently situated on the way to/from mil. However, we are not traveling in that direction at this time.

I am curious about this burger, in my area is the Arby's in town near where I live, couldn't get an order right to save someone's life, even their own. So I'll just have to wait until they're bonused enough that I can drive to another city, or next time I drive past an Arby's that I know can fill in order right.

Did you ever get a response? I'd be surprised if they allowed alterations, although I do agree the question sure seems to imply it. But I think part of the shop is to make sure they assemble the burger correctly with all of the standard toppings.
Jason said the wagyu burger was gross... But he got it at the arby's here in town, and they couldn't cook themselves out of a paper bag.

Arbys doesn't have grills -- they are prepared sous vide. Basically simmered to temp in a vacuum-sealed bag.

I've heard lots of feedback both ways.

Arby's were until this round all drive-through so I could grab two and it was dinner for both of us. Now that most of them are order in dine in I'm passing.

Also once gas passed $4-$4.50/gallon, if a shop isn't EXACTLY on my commute I'm a hard pass.

I thought only the Waygu burger was prepared sous vide. Aren't their other meats (such as roast beef) roasted in sealed bags?
